   Great food. Eggplant and Cucumber appettizers were unique and delicious. Will definitely be going back to try more from the menu.

   One of the best meals I have had in a while. Food was way above average, fresh, uniquely prepared and served by a very attentive staff. All in all a very lovely dining experience..

   Dinner at Gioia 5/17/25. Party of 2. Pre-fixe meal good value. Delicious Shrimp appetizer. Entrees: Mushroom Lasagna… 3 pinwheels. Ricotta, spinach filling with red tomato sauce. Excellent. Lobster Tagliatelle… chunks of lobster meat over homemade pasta… Excellent. Dessert: Torta Tenerina… a decadent flourless chocolate cake with fresh raspberries and blackberries…a perfect dessert. I definitely recommend Gioia and suggest that reservations are necessary.

   Always enjoy Gioia! My wife and I usually sit at the bar when we can. Great food and atmosphere- service first class. The fresh pasta is always a hit!

   This is our sixth time there and we still love it. Kids took me there for Mother’s Day eve dinner. A little (ONLY a little)disappointed that they changed their menu up an didn’t have the tortellini or another dish that I can’t remember the name of but it was a stuffed pasta dish as well. Maybe it was a winter thing. 🤷‍♀️ but I hope it returns. We ordered two appetizers—the grilled cauliflower and the warm mozzarella. We ordered the mozzarella with prosciutto de parma but I don’t think the server heard us (it was vey noisy) because it came without. We didn’t complain though, because they also served us (comp) a cucumber appetizer (which we really want the recipe for..it was so good!) and the white bean appetizer, which was scrumptious. Three people in our group ordered the tagliatelle bolognese. My brother in law had it last time we went and highly recommended it. This time all three people concurred that the tagliatelle was overcooked and could have used a little more sauce. My daughter loved her lobster tagliatelle and I loved my lasagna so overall it was only one dish that missed its mark. The waitstaff was outstanding. They realized that one person in our party had ordered a gluten free dish so they adjusted the cauliflower recipe to be gluten free as well. Overall, it was a terrific evening and a perfect Mother’s Day dinner. And everyone was thrilled to see Jimmy Fallon who had just finished and was leaving as we were coming in. No photos because I left my phone at home and we were too busy enjoying the evening!

   This restaurant was exceptional We enjoyed everything from the wonderful service to the delectable, gourmet food to the lovely and romantic ambiance.We highly recommend the sizzling shrimp appetizer,the filet mignonette steak drizzled in a fabulous ,brown gravy with mushrooms and the pasta in a cheesy,tomato sauce with chunks of lobster.Our dessert was a fudge chocolate cake topped with vanilla ice cream and surrounded with cream and berries.It was so delectable.It was topped with a birthday candle for my husband.It was a very nice experience ,not rushed or noisy.We can’t wait to return.Thanks Billy ,our sweet and accommodating waiter.We loved Gioia

   This was our first time here. In the middle of the meal my husband suggested we make a reservation each week for the rest of the summer! The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and the pre fixe was a “no brainer “. Fabulous, we will be back for sure!

   Apparently, we arrived 15 minutes early for a 7:45 reservation which was moved up to 7:30 during the confirmation phone call. Unfortunately, the reservation was never changed in the restaurant's reservation system. So while we waited, the Maître d offered to buy to 4 of us a round of drinks. That was above and beyond, and greatly appreciated! As previously, the appetizers, salads, pastas and dessert were all worth the wait.

    First time there. Amazing. Excellent service, cocktails 10/10, appetizer, entree and dessert 10/10. Would be overall 10/10 if the music playing in the background wasn’t so horrible. I’m guessing they were going for a bossa nova vibe or something? Replace that music with some smooth Sinatra and I’ll be there every week! Great restaurant.
