   Despite reviewing latest reviews, both good and bad, we decided to try this place. We were one of four tables for lunch. Our server was very quiet, but responded well. Our food was good, not excellent, but not horrible. May or may not try here again.

   I'll be honest... our expectations were much higher, given the overall quality of the resort, which is gorgeous! It was Easter, but only about 25% of tables were occupied. Our server was nice, but disappeared for long periods of time. Took a long time to get our breakfast, at least 30 minutes, again most tables were empty. We ordered a second round of drinks, but did not get them until we were almost finished with our meal. My husband ordered a top-shelf margarita, and while it was his fault he did not specify, got a $38 margarita with 1942 Anejo, most expensive they had. Food was good, but based on the inattentiveness and inconsistency of service, will not return.

   The food was just okay. The service was terrible. We waited 15 minutes for our drinks. The server never came to check in on us throughout the meal. We always had to get someone’s attention. Ordered a bottle of wine, she opened it and filled the glasses up. We did not have the opportunity to taste it prior. I know that sounds silly, but when you are paying that much for a bottle, you should get a little sip first. She took my plate as I was still eating off of it and placed it on top of dirty dishes. I let her know I wasn’t finished, she tried handing it back to me. That was really gross. The gratuity is included in the total bill, which we assumed was the reasoning for subpar service. For the prices, it was just not worth it. Try the other places at the resort!

   The server did well explaining the food and engaging with the table but the food was as lackluster for the price and what I expected from Evermore and Conrad. The scallops weren’t seared consistently and weren’t a large enough portion. The pancetta pasta dish needed chicken or something else to make it a full meal. The pour on the wine was so small our 13 year old commented on it. We wouldn’t visit this restaurant for a second time.

   We enjoyed everything about our meal. Service was smooth and attentive from our hostess to our server. The rib eye and the grouper were fantastic! We had a lovely view. All in all we can’t wait to return.
