Tickets to View Boston are required to access The Beacon. Guests are encouraged to book a prepaid experience, which includes a general admission ticket. Please note, if you have booked an a la carte reservation, you will need to purchase an admission ticket to go up.
Please also be aware that the time of your reservation is the time to be at the restaurant, but you may enter View Boston at any point before the time of your reservation!

We reserved an a la carte reservation to celebrate our anniversary, we were engaged at the previous restaurant, The top of the hub, 25 years ago. We were seated quickly at a window seat and presented with a card wishing us a happy anniversary. We had an amazing view. We both ordered a spicy margarita drink from the menu which was made perfectly, we each even had a second. We shared some appetizers of a fig and prosciutto flatbread and a tuna tartare, both were very good, we especially enjoyed the flavors of the flatbread. For mains I ordered the Salmon and he ordered the smash burger. He said his burger was very good, my fish was delicious but the couscous and little chunks of summer squash were flavorless and a bit lacking. At the end of dinner they brought us a lovely piece of chocolate cake to share, it was very decadent. The restaurant has a less upscale and more casual feel to it than before. So it didn’t have the romantic, upscale vibe it once had but more of a casual coastal restaurant and bar. I didn’t mind it just a different setting. The menu has a decent yet small selection and again albeit delicious it is not anything unique or memorable. I found the prices of the food to be fair and comparable to similar restaurants in the area. The only other thing that is a bit disappointing but not really a reflection of the restaurant is the cost of the tickets to go up. It would be nice if they made it a bit more affordable for families. And you do have to purchase tickets even if you are only planning to go up for the restaurant. All in all it was a lovely night celebrating our anniversary in the place we were engaged at and that my husband’s father and uncle helped to build.

Food was delicious, with generous portions. Wait staff was attentive. They even gave us an Anniversary card and a lovely dessert! It was definitely a good value!

It was a beautiful night to celebrate our anniversary. Had a window seat, a card from the staff, tasty food, and a wonderful view. Unforgettable experience!!

This was our first visit and will not be our last! We celebrated Father's Day and brunch and the drinks were wonderful! The View...well it is Boston! We then ventured upstairs to The View level and were absolutely amazed at the beauty of Boston's skyline. My husband and I grew up in Boston and our children, now all adults, have gravitated to living and working in Boston, but I no longer live here, so when we have the opportunity to be tourists we jump in with both feet! The Prudential, The View and The Beacon are a MUST visit! We also had drinks while admiring the beautiful Boston skyline...do it!

You are definitely just paying for the view, which is spectacular! But the food is not great. Fried calamari tasted like it was cooked in oil used in a deep fish fry you would get at an old school fry place. We barely touched that. Shared a lobster roll that was just so-so. Again fries tasted like they were fried in fish fry. We would definitely go back to enjoy the View itself but skip the restaurant

Limited food choices but what they offer is great!! Parking was 46 bucks which is more expensive than parking for a sox game. Rooftop deck is beautiful but make sure you go on a night with nice weather

The atmosphere, staff, food and drinks at The Beacon were all outstanding! The waitress was very attentive, kind, and accommodating. Views were amazing. Will definitely be back!
