   Wonderful meal - it was my birthday and I had homemade truffles for desert- so good! Service was excellent , beautiful ambiance

   Overpriced for the quality. We went for the Mother’s Day price fix menu for $45/pp (did not include alcoholic nor non-alcoholic beverages) The first course of frozen box pastries was disappointing. Entrees only included breakfast items which consisted of a pre-made 3” quiche tart which tasted as though it had been kept in the warmer for hours, eggs Benedict served with hard cooked eggs which, even when new eggs were requested, were still served cooked hard leading one to believe the eggs were also precooked and kept warm and a Steak Oscar that was delicious. Dessert was a choice of a lemon tartlet which was nice or a red velvet cake cup that was served in a cute Mason jar but also had a slight taste of being prepped several days ago, kinda like the inside of the walk in. For $45 a person I was expecting something quite a bit better. The server was great! Total bill for three people w tip $250 and we still ordered Chinese food for dinner.

   Beautiful place, food was really good. Service was quick. Only issue was a large group that was celebrating, very drunk and very loud. Really disappointed the evening. Staff had to work too hard to keep them happy and the group was very rude to the surrounding people.

   Nice ambiance and cocktails. Food was good but prime rib portions were on the small side. Mushroom bologna was salty

   The waiter was outstanding & gave us great service . Told him we were celebrating our 42 anniversary & gave us couple of glasses of champagne & truffles .

   We have been to Castillo a number of times and frequently have the short ribs and in the past enjoyed them. last night they were not good. Not sure we will be back as other than the salad the menu does not appeal to me

   Went for my 40th birthday. Had the short ribs and both of the mocktail drinks - everything was tasty!

    We’ve been to this restaurant several times. Everything was satisfactory. I’ve never had a wow experience here, and it’s pretty pedestrian. Everyone’s food was good. My only complaint is that three of us had the fish and chips and the fish portions were very small. They were very small pieces of fish and a lot of batter. For the price we expected more than this. In taste and proportion. The drinks were a little strong, but no one should complain about additional alcohol. Service was OK. Like I said before I’ve never had a wow experience here. We had to ask what the specials were and the market Fish it wasn’t just presented to us. I asked for a whiskey menu and was told to get up and go walk over to the bar and see what whiskeys they had up on the wall. That kind of service is pretty disappointing.. I guess I should note that we were at the table the furthest away from the bar as well. There were five of us and our bill was $240 which I guess isn’t horrible, but at the end of the day I probably would’ve had a better experience at just a local moderately priced place like a pub. I would give it 3 1/2 stars but I don’t see that as an option so I ended up giving it four.
