                                                I had a reservation planned for my boyfriend’s birthday, no where during booking did it say closed for reservations or a manager will contact with issues. We booked it for Monday with no problems, got dressed, drove 20 minutes to the location, all for a child dressed up as security to tell me that they had a private event and someone should’ve reached out to cancel our reservation. Another woman comes up to say the same thing, and didn’t offer to find us anything or reserve at their other restaurant. Other guests with reservations were being turned away at the door too. Mind you, we had no message or call about the cancelling so we were left to scramble to find a birthday dinner reservation on an island at 6:30 (good luck with that). Luckily we found a restaurant 30 minutes away, but I am so upset with the lack of communication. When we parked, I thought of “let’s stay here during our next st Thomas vacation”. But no, I will NEVER give them my money. Staff was not helpful or considerate at all.

                                                The view was amazing and the food was very good. The value was expected for the area. Everything is pricey and any restaurant at the hotels are more expensive for the convenience. But the portions were a good size for the price. Would go back again if staying at any of the resorts around it. It’s nice to be able to walk to and from dinner.

                                                What a great bar!! We ate at the bar three times! The view is spectacular, and you can get a cool breeze from there. You may be able to see the ships depart Charlotte Amalie on the right day! The food is very good. Especially the pasta bolognese. The cocktails were excellent & consistent. My husband was able to get a proper old fashioned (with a dark cherry!), and I was able to get a very nice martini! It's sometimes difficult to find a good classic cocktail on the island. Kayla was the absolute best bartender, and Jessica & Xavier were great too!

                                                Our party of two had a terrific meal at Luna Mar. Our server, Pablo, was attentive, friendly, and kind. He was knowledgeable about the menu, and despite there being very few gluten-free options, he was able to recommend a dish for me. Our table had a great view, and we never felt rushed. The only negative was our anniversary not being acknowledged when it was listed on the reservation. Otherwise, we loved our dinner there!

                                                My grouper was overcooked, but I did not send it back, but I should have. Everything else we ordered was good, but not to level I can say excellent. This was our second visit to the restaurant.
