    The cocktails on the menu were good, but they didn't know how to make a Sazerac (which would be ok if you didn't advertise as the best cocktails in Boston). The gnocchi was delicious. BUT the service was SO slow. It took 45 min for them to take our food order and at one point I did want dessert, but they never came back. Our table never got bussed and we ended up there for over 2 hours and we just got 2 drinks and an entree. Looked like multiple tables had the same issue - the one next to us just up and left with a couple dollars on the table because they didn't get served anything and the manager (or host? idk) was more concerned with the TV not working. Their system was down when we left, which explained some of the delay, but doesn't explain why they didn't check if we wanted to order anything else (which we did!). Bottom line - if they had checked in on us to order apps, dessert, another round, etc. they would have made 2x from our table alone.

    I loved, loved , loved the ambience, it reminded me of the great Gatsby. It’s like you feel grown and sexy soon as you enter the doors . What I liked is you can come dressed up or dressed down and still fit right in. Saturday night seems like the place to hang out and have a few drinks and good eats… (Drinks were a hit by the way, presentation was Everything 💙) Baby don’t hesitate on the mussels, those were divine, the Estella chicken was average and the Kale salad, salmon, steak and ribs were great choices according to my guests. The manger Billy was amazing and the only reason my group and I met him, was due to little mishaps with the server(s). The only recommendation we suggest would be proper training on serving people there entrées, they tended to have there fingers in your plate when serving, which led to them touching your food which for me is VERY unsanitary! Not saying it will happen all the time but it’s something to watch for! Other than that everything else was top notch and not to mention the DJ they had was a VIBE, love how he engages with the guest( not to a point we’re it’s irritating) but he definitely reads the room and picks excellent music selections. Overall besides our waitress (side eye) it was a 8.5 out of 10. Birthday dinner was a success💫 We will be back again, so stay tuned for another review!

    I went to Estella for a brunch with my finance. We are ALWAYS looking for ways to support. But the food was so disappointing. I had the chicken and waffles and he had the stacked chicken and waffle breakfast sandwich. The chicken was overcooked and dry. The breading was tasteless. The waffle supposedly had bacon scallions and shredded cheese cooked into it. Sounds amazing but I tasted none of that in my waffle. It's unfortunate because my drink, the Tropical Bliss, was bomb, the ambiance is lovely and the service was excellent. We may stop by again to sit at the bar but the food is not worth the money, unfortunately.

    I was there for a meeting with my staff and i must say that I was blown away of how welcoming the place is. Everyone was so friendly and willing to service you with all our needs. From simple thing like walking you to the bathroom. The food was amazing, one of the best I have ate in the boston area, great options and tasty. The music and ambiance was warm and complemented our experience. The food arrive and drinks was very consistent and everyone absolutely loved it. This will be my new meeting spot, I don’t leave reviews but I just in amazed at how I never new about this awesome restaurant in downtown. Bartenders could not miss and kitchen as well. Everything A++++++

    Open Table confirmed our reservation. We went to the restaurant and it was completely closed, all lights were off, doors were locked. No sign in the window, nothing. Thankfully there was another restaurant across the street. I don't want to list their name here and have it attached to this review, but it's across the street and it's name is Hxx Gxxxxn I would go there again. We were trying to get to a show at the Garden so this really screwed us up

    The wait staff was nice, the food was good for a casual dinner. It is very loud if you sit in the booths in the bar area. The restaurant might be perfect for a big group that wants a broad menu, with a bar scene.

    Estella has so many great things to offer. From the moment you walk in, you’re greeted earnestly and treated like a truly valued guest. Everyone from hosts to servers to management were so nice. Unfortunately, our lower reviews come based off of a potentially egregious mistake. My guest is sober and requested a lemonade not once, not twice, but three times. The server—though an outstandingly nice individual—seemed to forget this a couple times. No big deal, however, he then dropped a drink to my guest and it sounded like he called it a Moscow mule. It came garnished with lime, as the cocktail would. Again, my guest is 6 years sober. I tried the cocktail and it did taste like ginger beer, which although a non-alcoholic ingredient in the cocktail that we feared may have been actually served. It could have been our mistake, but we didn’t want to risk breaking sobriety. We hope that this isn’t a continued issue at Estella.

    Great service and delicious food. My husband had the salmon and I had the beef filet. Perfectly done! I thought 10 oz would be too much but it was just perfect.

    We booked because we needed a reservation. The place seems more suited to be a dinner or after hours places. Brunch was ok. Prices were typically high for the city. The food was decent. No one else was dining there aside from another table. It was very dark in there too. I would look elsewhere but of was convenient to our hotel and for our schedule. Kind manger and staff.

    The food was good but not as described on the menu. For instance the seafood dish stated it came with Angel hair pasta but actually came with spaghetti. Although tasty was not what was expected. The director of operations did come and greet our table before we ordered which was a nice gesture. The drinks and beverages were not great just ok. Overall, for the price paid the food and drinks were it up to expectations.

    When I was looking for a brunch option without much notice I saw Estella had availability. That’s always a wild card…happy to be able to book but wondering why I was able to. We were seated upstairs as the only table when we arrived at 11. I thought this was very odd because there were so many free tables on a Sunday. Our waiter was so nice and attentive. The cocktails were awesome (lavender something) and the food was delicious and not a rip off. So why wasn’t it full??? No idea. I’ll definitely go back.

    Nice restaurant with good food, decor and ambiance with attentive service. The Butter Bond Cake for dessert is a must have! The staff was friendly and management even checked in with the patrons. Good location with convenient parking at Lafayette Garage.

    Everything was great about this place. Are you sure stop on your restaurant list? I have gone twice in one week. Don’t sleep on this one. I love their hibiscus ginger beer. Try it out. It won’t disappoint.

    OK so I had never heard of or been to this place somehow and went before a show at the Opera House. I was able to get a reservation (yay!) and omg the bartenders were great and the food was amazing and I can’t believe it wasn’t busier in there! We had such a good time, we went back for another drink after the show! I will definitely remember this spot whenever I’m in the area. :)

    The food was good but getting it was agonizingly slow. It took well over an hour from the time we sat down to get our food. I don’t blame the server. The kitchen was slow. Too bad because when it’s so close to the theatre if they were quicker I’d go again.

    Family theater night will keep Estella’s on our list of favorites to visit in the upcoming season of shows. Menus are full of options for whatever the mood strikes. Fancy cocktails or simple house wine by the glass. We fully enjoyed our meals complete with appetizers and delicious desserts. Wait staff was friendly and knowledgeable which helped us navigate pre-show timelines for courses. Short walk to the opera house which is a huge time saver from garage and pre show preparation.

    One of the best spot in Boston if you want a good experience and enjoy great food. My party and I had so much fun and enjoyed the food, drinks and ambience. Please try and heir calamari and fried cauliflower … simply delicious. We will definitely go back.

    We came for taco Tuesday, the food was delicious, the staff were attentive and fun without being overbearing. We had the birria tacos.. 100% recommend.. the portions were generous and the sauces were amazing. We also had the taste like candy cocktail which came with sour patch watermelon.. yum. The drinks were so good you don’t realize how strong they are. Sip slow. The dj was great and played a variety of music and the ambience was perfect. Highly recommend
