   Took three hours. Food not worth waiting for. Lobster served without butter. Had to ask numerous times to refill water. So many places to pick from in Boston that I would not recommend Estella. We will not be returning

   I expected more from this restaurant. Service was below average. Food was average. Some items were good but some were below average. I wouldn't go out of my way to go back given all of the good options in the area. It's really just a bar with average bar food.

   Seated right away in a weird hallway facing the trash underneath the bar. Multiple waitstaff standing around area but we were left sitting there for 15 minutes without as much as a hello. Finally I asked if we have a waiter or waitress and a nice man came to help us. Explained our waitress was busy but would start our drinks and appetizers. Took another 15 mins for our actual waitress to address us. Seemed annoyed that we were not ready to order as we were waiting to hear if there were any specials and for our appetizer to arrive. Food was decent and arrived in timely manner. Ignored most of our visit. Never filled our water or ask if we wanted another drink. Had to ask for the check and waited quite awhile for it. Automatic 20% was added to our check for no reason. We were only a party of two. Now I can see why little effort was put into our evening. Never returning.

   We had brunch on a Saturday, it was delicious. Shrimp and grits, chicken and waffles, crab meat hash, all wonderful. Great atmosphere and the service was spot on. Highly recommend.

   Estella is always excellent - we've been here many times. Tonight was my birthday, and we invited some good friends to join us - was their first visit. Everything was perfect, from a hassle-free adjustment to our reservation time when our friends were stuck in traffic, to seating us where we wanted, to exceptional service for the whole meal. Food was terrific, from appetizers to delicious entrees and desserts - mine with a candle and staff joining in for Happy Birthday. And excellent cocktails! One of our favorite places to eat downtown, and we will be back!

   I specifically requested a birthday celebration with the brownie when I made this reservation. The brownie came very late. No one acknowledged the birthday. Very disappointing.

   I have been to Estella's several time and the food is DELICIOUS. However, the waitress service was absolutely POOR this time around so I am assuming additional training may be required.

   My brunch experience was amazing, the food was absolutely amazing and the staff were amazing, from the hostess to my server. I had a great brunch

    Outstanding food and service was great as well. I went here to celebrate mothers day. Had the lobster omelette and grits both were delicious. Looking forward to coming back again for brunch and or dinner to try the lemon pepper wingssssssss.
