   We were so looking forward to our Mother's Day Brunch at the Wyndham. To our surprise, after searching all around the resort to find an actual restaurant, we were finally directed inside the hotel, where signage directed us to a banquet room with no windows and a 3 piece band playing a little loudly. Moms received a long stem rose when entering, which was a nice touch. The room was totally underwhelming, as I pictured a tropical setting with at the very least a view of the beach and some atmosphere, but the all white tables, walls, and lack of decor added to the underwhelming impact. Also underwhelming was the food. I had visions of Smoked Salmon with Capers, maduros (fried sweet plantains), an omelette station, and other delicious treats. What we got were scrambled eggs with roasted potatoes, and LOTS of Pork! There was bacon, chorizo, pork loin, chicken, with waffles (using Costco waffles) and gravy, and a sad looking pasta salad. I am a vegetarian, and could only eat the eggs and potatoes. With a few tasty shot glass deserts and some sliced melon, I filled my belly, but that was about all. Our server was wonderful, as were the rest of the staff, but I expected a lot more from this institution. No atmosphere (the band was good tho), food I could get in any cheap restaurant, and an expensive price ($70.p/p plus tip), this was the biggest waste of money I have had in a supposed fine dining environment in my life. I hope the chef reads this and decides to provide an actual Mother's Day Brunch that makes us mothers feel glad to be there. It should be an experience to remember, not just meh!

   We love the restaurants here. But the food was plain and bland, tables were so tight you couldn’t walk through, noise levels so loud you couldn’t talk, no path to buffet lines, buffet lines were difficult to maneuver around. We ended leaving early.

   Service and Organization was excellent, but the music was poor. This was a New Years Eve Party in Puerto Rico. Some good latin music would have made a big difference...

   More person's than the one assigned to tables. No security. At ones audience interupted the show went up to the stage. Open bar was worse. The vodka was from sugar, the cheapest you can by at a supermarket. The same with the wines and sparking wines. Cheap Rum. Only one set of local Christmas music.

   It was a horrible and unexpected experience. The team was not prepared to receive the amount of people that payed almost $200 per person to celebrate New Year’s Eve at the Ballroom of the Hotel. First everybody had to make a huge line, then they were out of wrist bands, then they were sending us to the pool when we payed for the Ballroom Gala. Then they sent us to the buffet, but they didn’t even had tall tables, or benches to eat. The manager, who was very disrespectful, sent us outside to eat, and didn’t even send us a person to see how we were or to send us the drinks. We had to carry our food with our gowns outside and once we ate we had to come back for the drinks. After all that, the bathrooms were closed and the nearest ones were far, far away. We felt like we didn’t belong. Next time, I recommend to contract event planning professionals to do an event of this caliber.

   Estamos muy satisfechos con la actividad de año nuevo, sin duda nos encantarîa vovler a participar. El servicio fue excelente.

   The venue exceeded my expectations. I have been to organized NYE events in the past they were lackluster. Thank you Wyndham for bringing in the New Year right!

   Event was well done and food served quite good. All at our table SHOCKED at the pricing on the drinks and we will not be returning as a result. The pricing was way over the top!!
