We have dined here several times. The food is consistent, buffalo cauliflower is always great, but the blue cheese dressing needs more blue cheese. The ravioli and deviled eggs are great too. Not a fan of the egg rolls or crab hush puppies. The sandwiches have all been good. The service is hit or miss. Once we had great service, all the other visits the service was slow and inattentive. Bar service is very slow but the drinks are good once received. Interior ambiance is nice downstairs, upstairs could use some work.

This is our third time there. Last time I had the Caesar salad and it was amazing. this time we ordered a side Caesar and the lettuce was a bit brown so that was disappointing. Not quite enough dressing either. The filet mignon was excellent so we would give it another try

Great restaurant! It’s special to me because I grew up in Pineville. I used to come in all of those thriving stores on main street when I was just a kid. I’ll be back!

Came here for my birthday months ago got the scallops and a couple of cocktails had a really good experience. Just went back for the second time and got the shrimp and grits which unfortunately to me didnt have much flavor and wasnt really what I was expecting. The cauliflower wings though are the best ive ever had HIGHLY recommend!

Drinks/cocktails were outstanding. Homemade chips are fantastic. Great ambience and attentive service. Where it fell short unfortunately was the food. This was my second visit and the first visit the food was amazing.. this time it was disappointing. The steak sandwich was over cooked.. the spring rolls were just blah and the dipping sauce wasn’t good.. the spicy Buffalo chicken was just ok.. maybe stick to the burgers and deviled eggs..

Once again, a great experience dining at The Garrison. We were lucky and had Ryan as our waiter. He is consistently friendly and attentive. The food and wine was delicious. Tried dessert for the first time and the apple crisp was perfect. More than enough for two people. Highly recommend this restaurant!

Food was well cooked, but the combination of flavors with the salmon was a bit odd. I booked our table for 2 upstairs through Open Table, but was told by the host that only the downstairs was available despite the multiple open tables available upstairs. No explanation when I showed him my reservation for upstairs. Overall, just ok, but not likely to come back.

2 ordered fried ravioli - a little overdone. One ordered salmon - meat without much flavor even w mango salsa but generous serving a good risotto. Caesar salads were very good. Great service in beginning then server faded away

Beautiful space with excellent service. My salmon was a little over cooked but everything else was great. The crab hush puppies are definitely worth ordering. We will try the tuna poke nachos next time. The cheesecake is perfection!

Dinner for 4, salmon on beet salad came out grossly undercooked, sent back with promise to cook a new meal. The new meal salmon was also undercooked. Waiter kept apologizing. His service was excellent but meals were lackluster.

First time in, recommended by a restauranteur in town. Came in an hour before closing and was told appetizers only. Being a Friday night this was a little disappointing but ok we’ll roll with it. Every time the server came by it felt like they just wanted us to leave. Hey by the way, only app menu. Next time around hey by the way last call for alcohol. Just not what I was expecting really. Really went out of my way to get to this place also as I don’t live super close to Pineville, so I don’t think I would venture out here again.

Great evening with friends at The Garrison. It was Restaurant Week, so there was a lot of energy! The service was great and we were not hurried. I was able to ask for modifications in the meal even though it was a set menu. The food was delicious. We had the scallops, short ribs, and salmon. The upstairs of The Garrison is just as beautiful as the main floor with exposed brick walls, beautiful hand crafted wood tables, and a cozy bar tucked into a corner. Highly recommend this place for lunch or dinner. Great addition to Pineville.

We ate during restaurant week. I realize it was busy and they were trying to get everyone taken care of but I felt like we were being rushed somewhat. I also ordered a glass of wine with dinner but it never came out. Their loss. Food was good and server was just average

My wife and I both got the fillet. Perfectly cooked. Paired with a French Martini for my wife and a Pink Smoke for myself. Finished off with Ricotta Cheesecake. Great evening celebrating my wife’s birthday.
