Me and my girlfriend went because she seen it on tic tok and it was overall a good experience the service was a little slow for my liking and the waitress gave us somebody else’s order but other than that it was okay. Steak was delicious

⭐️⭐️⭐️ 3/5 – Unique Experience, Room for Improvement First time visiting North Shore Tavern – Home of the Steak on a Stone. I tried the ribeye and have to say, cooking it yourself on the hot stone is a fun and flavorful experience. The steak was a highlight—perfectly cooked to my liking thanks to the interactive setup. However, the rest of the experience had a few letdowns. My meal was supposed to come with mashed potatoes, which were missing initially and arrived halfway through—cold. I ended up heating them myself on the stone, which felt a little ironic for a sit-down meal at this price point. The biggest surprise was the menu. Online, we saw “Hand Helds and Salads,” but those items weren’t available in the restaurant. This led to a pretty disappointing moment—my girlfriend came in craving a burger but ended up with just a cookie dessert. My son wanted the chicken Caesar salad and had to pivot to wings. Thankfully, the wings were solid, though he’s more of a boneless fan. For a place with premium pricing and a strong hook (the steak on a stone is genuinely cool), I expected a bit more consistency and attention to detail. I'd come back for the steak—but only after confirming the full menu ahead of time.

Love this place and the steak on a stone. Took my parents for the first time for Father's Day and they loved it!

The overall experience was really good we definitely would go again. The food was great. The service was great. The only thing I did not like was it was a little bit loud and that to go boxes for your leftovers were not really great for food that was a little bit wet like Broccoli and mashed potatoes. The takeout containers are like a cardboard they would be fine for things like french fries or maybe a sandwich on a bun or a wrap, but not for actual dinners.

We had so much fun cooking our meal on the hot stones. We had never done anything like this before and we all loved it. We will definitely come back if we’re ever in Pittsburg again.
