Absolutely love this restaurant! I wanted to show my husband how much I appreciate him, so I made reservations at Blu on Hudson. We both loved the food, service, and ambiance. I will definitely be coming back!

Above and beyond service! From the moment we walked in, every staff member was attentive and caring. Our server was truly a sweetheart and made sure to explain all specials or any questions that we may have had since it was our first time visiting. Also, congratulated us on our anniversary and read the note I have left on the reservation, which many restaurants often ignore/ look over. The food was also incredible and had us planning the next time we hope to return. Thank you so much for an amazing anniversary dinner.

The food was amazing. One of our guests loved the Caccio Pepe so much he splashed the sauce on his shirt so he can smell like it on the way home. One of my other guests is still there eating and never went home to his wife and newborn. I would say that this place is amazing, but hey what do I know. I only go out to eat 8 nights a week because my wife thinks I am rich. So, yeah the food is amazing. Order half the menu and enjoy the company you are with.

What a spectacular experience! It was an incredible treat to celebrate my birthday in such a beautiful place. We sat in the outside space surrounded by magnificent blue hydrangeas and sipped the “Naked After Midnight” cocktail. My husband had the “Bamboo Panda” It tasted as good as it looked. The bar was set high. “Regular” cocktails will be a disappointment going forward. Since it was my birthday we splurged on the caviar. The presentation was very cool- and included mini deviled eggs along with house-made potato chips. The wedge salad was amazing with marinated tomatoes and waygu beef bacon. I order branzino every time I go out (boring I know) but this one blew me away with the mussels and calamari. My husband the chicken parm which he raved about, with the whipped potatoes and creamed spinach, both delicious! We had the carrot cake for dessert- it was moist with a delicious icing. Amazing dinner in a beautiful space with a very cool vibe. I can’t wait until next time!!

I’ve dined at Blu multiple times, and each visit reveals something new and wonderful but this recent experience was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, the service was impeccable. Attentive without being overbearing, the staff made sure every detail of our evening was just right. The drink menu is extensive with wide range of creative cocktails, mocktails. wines, and unique selections. Our group enjoyed an Old Fashioned and a premium sake that paired perfectly with our starters. The food was creative, refined, and absolutely delicious. We began with the carpaccio, lobster sushi roll, and Wagyu nori tacos and salmon Nori tacos and each bite bursting with flavor. The Wagyu bacon was a standout: rich and literally melting in your mouth. The wedge salad was refreshing. Entrées were impressive. We chose the foie gras and Wagyu steak special which was indulgent. The Delmonico steak was cooked to perfection, and the Dover sole was a revelation — buttery and the best fish I’ve ever tasted. Portions of each were generous and ideal for sharing. Dessert were chocolate layer cake, so decadent, the tiramisu creamy and just so good and the carrot cake had just the right amount of sweetness with caramel sauce on the side. Fresh strawberries with cream added a light, elegant touch to round out our meal. The ambiance at Blu is lively and upscale. The restaurant was still buzzing with guests as we were leaving (clearly a local favorite) I highly recommend making reservations. We were lucky enough to have a table with a beautiful view of the river and NYC skyline, which made the night even more special. We went with another couple who said it’s perfect place for a special occasion or a memorable night out and already can’t wait to return for a monthly date night.
