Another Standout Evening at Del Frisco’s – Elevated by Jake’s Exceptional Service After a great dinner earlier in the week, I found myself back at Del Frisco’s on Wednesday for another business meal—and this one may have been even better. The evening delivered on all fronts: excellent food, a welcoming atmosphere, and standout service from our server, Jake. Del Frisco’s remains a go-to for business dinners. The setting strikes just the right tone—refined yet relaxed—perfect for conversation and connection. From the moment we walked in, everything flowed smoothly, thanks to the attentive and polished team. Jake brought genuine energy and hospitality to the table. He was knowledgeable, personable, and made thoughtful menu suggestions tailored to our tastes—including a special featuring Wagyu strip steak, lobster tail, and a refreshing heirloom tomato and watermelon arugula salad that stole the show. My guest enjoyed the bone-in filet with a flawless Pittsburgh char, plus creamed corn and wild mushrooms—timeless favorites, done right. A big thanks as well to the host, who always greets me as though he knows me, and the management team, who consistently stop by to check in and ensure the night is going well. That kind of personal touch really sets Del Frisco’s apart. It’s not a complicated formula—but they get it right every time, and my guests and I truly appreciate it. Of course, we wrapped up with the legendary butter cake and a glass of Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask—a perfect end to a memorable evening. Del Frisco’s continues to deliver not just great meals, but great experiences. It’s the people who make the difference, and they do it with heart. We’ll definitely be back soon.

A Memorable Monday Night at Del Frisco’s – Starting the Week in Style We kicked off the week with a business dinner at Del Frisco’s, and once again, the experience was nothing short of exceptional. Whether you’re hosting a meeting, celebrating a milestone, or simply enjoying a great meal, Del Frisco’s continues to deliver across the board—flawless service, outstanding food, a refined atmosphere, and unmatched attention to detail. Our server, Michael, was the highlight of the evening. His warm personality, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality transformed a routine business dinner into a truly memorable experience. Michael has a way of making every guest feel welcomed and taken care of—something that sets Del Frisco’s apart time and again. The meal was, as expected, top-tier. I started with one of my personal favorites—the crispy calamari, always a great way to open the evening. Next came the tomato and onion salad, followed by the bone-in strip steak, cooked to absolute perfection with a classic Pittsburgh char. On the side, the creamed corn (a must-try!) and wild mushrooms rounded out the plate beautifully. We paired the meal with a stunning bottle of Cabernet, which elevated the entire dining experience. And of course, no visit to Del Frisco’s is complete without their legendary butter cake—still the best dessert in town. To finish the night, a pour of Balvenie 14 Caribbean Cask scotch offered a smooth, elegant conclusion to an already flawless evening. Del Frisco’s continues to set the gold standard—not just for fine dining, but for creating consistently memorable, professional, and welcoming experiences. Kudos to the entire team—and a special thank you to Michael—for making our Monday night something worth talking about. We’ll definitely be back.

The best cooked steak I have had in Pgh since the old Pittsburgh Rare and that had to be almost 15 years ago. Great job Del Friscos!

Food is average at best, most dishes were very below average. If you’re going for the food just don’t go. Service and ambience were excellent. Noise level is approaching too noisy if you prefer a quiet restaurant. Alaskan king crab legs were $150 MP for 1.5 small legs, not worth it.

The hostess wanted to seat us at a small table in the bar, where it was incredibly loud due to a singer, playing a guitar. This was not the table that I reserved. After declining that table , we were sat in the corner, next to the bathrooms. We usually love the atmosphere of this restaurant, but this was very disappointing. The steak was not up to par… no salt on the outside edge. It was just “ok”. The highlight of the dinner was the butter cake. For a special night out, it wasn’t so special.

Absolutely outstanding, our servers name was Jamie I believe, and the manager Gianna was an absolute gem. 10/10 best del friscos I’ve been to out of 6 around the US. The tuna sashimi was a great start
