   We spent a few nights in Sedona and gave the Shorebird a try, it was great. Food was delicious, we had the hamburger (Really good onion rings and burger!), the filet mignon was also very good as well as the halibut and seabags. everyone enjoyed their dish and we would definitely go back. The views are outstanding as well as the service. Definitely would suggest a trip there if you are in the area.

   Shorebird Sedona was a lovely experience. The food was delicious, presentation beautiful and excellent service. And the VIEW, simply amazing!

   I had been to Shorebird before and decided to bring my mother and sisters for my mom's 75th birthday weekend celebration. We had an awful experience overall. We arrived at our scheduled time and I told the hostess that we had 6 people instead of 5. Please note I had left 3 separate messages to change the count in the 2 weeks leading up to our brunch and never heard back from the restaurant. Apparently they do not check their voice messages. The hostess seemed VERY put out about having to add an additional seat to our table. Mind you tables in most restaurants (including this one) are made for pairs of two. Adding a 6th person to a 5 top had NO bearing on the configuration except needing to add silverware. The hostess then proceeded to sit us along the West wall of the restaurant near the bathrooms. When I asked about getting a table along the banquette on the North wall (with the large picture windows) instead, she told me she had to reserve those tables for 2 tops and potential walk ins. I had made my reservation 3 weeks prior. I am in the hospitality business and know that the standard is to give preference to reservations over walk ins. I brought this up with the hostess and she said there was nothing she could do... she could/would not move us to give us the table with better views. We proceeded to sit at the table near the bathroom for almost 2 hours and NOT ONE person came in to sit at the tables we had requested. Then as we were paying our bill a walk in for 8 people came in and they set the area we had requested up for them. Apparently it did not need top be reserved for 2 tops after all. On top of the issue of getting a crappy table when the restaurant was virtually empty when we walked in, the service was poor. Drinks took 25 minutes to come, the food came out in shifts and overall we felt the place lacked any knowledge of how the hospitality business works. Needless to say I will not be headed back to Shorebird Sedona any time soon.

   Absolutely amazing experience! Chef Toni is the best, his food is insanely good. One of my new favorite spots in Sedona.

   The Balboa Roll, crab cakes and avocado does keep bringing us back to Shorebird. There are likely so many good items on the menu but these always hit the spot!
