The Hawke features American fare alongside an extensive craft beer selection, fun cocktails, and wines by the glass.     Great evening. Food and service were top notch. It’s loud though so very hard to hear. Even the server apologized for sounding like she was yelling.

    The noise level at the restaurant is over the top and the server that we had seemed to be quite distracted and it took a long time to be served. Food and drinks were good and moderately priced.

    Overall an ok experience, our dinner was cold, service was good, restaurant was very noisy. No need to rush back.

    I have enjoyed dining here for many years now and my biggest complaint is that the menu needs a refresh. It hasn’t changed, ever, since they opened and it’s getting old. I actually ordered off menu this time (big mistake) and got chicken Milanese. It wasn’t good, at all. I won’t go back unless they decide to make some changes. Too many other fabulous restaurants in this are to choose from.

    All around great experience and food/drinks were great as well . Donna was our server and she did a fantastic job. The service level exceeded out expectations and she was a pleasure to speak with. Ask for Donna’s section on your next trip here !

    Wonderful dinner. Spanish salad, pasta special, cowboy steak with spinach, and carrot cake and bread pudding. Also sweet potato fries are outstanding. My husband and I enjoyed dining at the Hawke. We had a table for two in small “cubby” that looks out onto the street. Exceptional service from Donna and her team. It has been several years since we dined there. However, as a local it is on the top of my list for special dinners and incredible service.

    We were seated in the dining room, which we were glad for because the bar got very crowded and loud for happy hour, the food was excellent, our server, was excellent, we are looking forward to being back again next year when we visit NJ.

    We dined outside and the ambiance was lovely. Food was delicious and our server, Donna, was super hospitable and made our experience very enjoyable.

    The hawk is the best kept secret in Lambertville. The food selections and ingredients are top shelf. The people, the atmosphere, the cocktails, and the vibe our first rate.
