I’ve dined at Flavorture before and had such a great time that I chose to return for my birthday celebration — unfortunately, this experience did not live up to my first visit. The first time I came, my guest and I were seated in the front of the restaurant near the bar and DJ. The energy was vibrant, the vibe was amazing, and the food was excellent. That initial visit is what made me want to return for such a special occasion. However, my second visit — for my birthday — was completely different. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant was uncomfortably hot. There was no air conditioning on one of the hottest days of the year (99 degrees), and there was no advance notice or communication about the air quality issues. That, in itself, was disappointing. Customers should be informed and given the option to reschedule or cancel if conditions aren’t ideal. Our party of five was seated in a back room that was even hotter than the main area — at least 10 degrees warmer — and it felt like an overflow space. A portable air conditioning unit was present but didn’t blow cool air. Not only was it unbearably hot, but the energy that Flavorture is known for was completely missing in this section. We could barely hear the music, and the atmosphere fell flat. I personally believe this area should only be used for private or semi-private events, not regular dining — especially not for something like a birthday celebration. When I asked our waiter if a party in the front would be leaving soon, I was told no. He even suggested we sit outside — in 100-degree heat — which was honestly shocking, considering how uncomfortable it already was inside. Given the extreme heat, we weren’t even offered water and ice right away, which should have been a priority. I considered taking my party elsewhere, but with a 1:45 p.m. reservation, brunch was ending at most nearby restaurants, so we stayed and made the best of it. The food, thankfully, was still good.

Second time here. Sat at our table quick. No Mac n cheese at 2pm. Food was amazing though. Server wasn’t really “in tune/ focused” to the table.

We wanted to try a new place and we found Flavorture. As soon as we entered, the DJ was playing great music. Our server was great! I believe his name was Mo (shortened), and he really took care to share the highlights of the menu and kept checking in on our experience. Overall, it was great and we'd definitely go back!

Michael, the GM, was amazing and attentive. The music was great. The spot was small, but cute, and the vibes were inviting.

I feel in love with Flavorture's menu after attending a friend's catered party. Curious to experience the restaurant in person I chose it as a destination to spend my 23 wedding anniversary...I should've done my research. First, the entrance to the building was confusing with no clear signage. We stepped inside to an awkwardly constructed space that longed to be "high-end" but was instead very disjointed. For me, it missed the mark. We were escorted to a tiny window table in the dining area and waited a full 14min before being acknowledged or given water. A small but very LOUD bday party took away from what I was hoping to be a quiet evening. The saving grace... our waiter Moe (i think was his name) was a true professional. He was patient and gave great recommendations on favorite dishes. And then there was the food! I had the salmon, brussels and mac/cheese while the hubs ordered the steak. The chef has been touched by God! I quickly forgot about the negatives as I ate myself into a stupor. The food is moderately priced but plentiful. The staff took a photo (and framed it for $20) as a keepsake, which i thgt was a nice touch. While I likely wouldn't visit in person again, I'd def put them in my caterer rolodex.

I had a wonderful experience at Flavorture! 10/10. Wonderful hospitality. Customer service was top-tier. Seating was comfortable and a vibe and the music was perfect. The food and drinks was stellar.
