This is a perfect place for lunch! I love the ambience and the service is always above my expectations. Most importantly is that the food is always good. Highly recommend Sparrow for a good restaurant experience.

The food at Sparrow is excellent, and the cocktails are tasty, but the service was some of the worst that I’ve experienced. Our server paid little attention to our table and put cocktails and food in front of the wrong people. I wouldn’t recommend Sparrow to my friends.

Another good experience at Sparrow. Our family of five, which includes three adult children had a great meal there last night. We ordered several shareables, a couple of sandwiches and a salad. Plus a few cocktails and glasses of wine. Everything was delicious. Favorites were the tuna shareable, fried chicken sandwich, lamb quesadilla shareable.

Been here two times but will not return again. Two strikes and you"re out. Do not understand all the 4-5 star reviews for this very disappointing restaurant. Worse Bloody Mary ever unless you like raw horse radish! Very expensive for mediocre food and poor service. 8 people and $300 bill for tasteless lunch!!!

We decided to go back for thanksgiving dinner based on how excellent this experience was last year at this restaurant, however this year’s experience was disappointing. Starting from the ambience where the music was not aligned to holiday music as last year’s, service and dinner. We truly enjoyed the wine pairing the year before and it was advertised for this year but we found out at ordering that due to wine glasses availability they were not doing this option. The waiter also got our orders wrong and indicated that it was the chef’s desire and not ours what we received. Unfortunately, my family will try another restaurant for next year’s dinner.

We had Thanksgiving dinner at sparrow. I am always appreciative of staff that work on holidays, so kudos to all who worked. We were slightly disappointed in that the online reservation mentioned the option of wine pairings, but when we asked for them we were told that they weren’t available. That said, the bisque and risotto were awesome!

We had an excellent Thanksgiving experience at Sparrow. The three course meal had some nice selections including the turkey entree. Neither of us chose the traditional entree. My risotto with lobster was delicious my partner had veal osso bucco which he enjoyed. (In both cases the protein might have been a tad overcooked but hey...it was a busy holiday.) We will definitely come back. We're eyeing the weekend brunch. It's a cozy but elegant atmosphere. Our server was excellent and a very sweet guy! Thanks for a wonderful holiday meal.

This was a 3 course fixed menu for $75 per person. Definitely not worth it. The crab soup was delicious but that’s where it ended. The salad was pedestrian, the filet thin and tasteless and the risotto undercooked and tough. UGH! The service was extremely slow and the bar was understaffed because drinks came well after the appetizer.

This is a great neighborhood bar and lounge with utmost class. Been there a handful of times. Love the ambience and the service. The food and cocktails are good...but I would not describe them as outstanding, especially when you consider the pricing. Sandwiches/burgers start at $24. For a table of 3, our bill was over $265, and that was without any formal entrees...just sandwiches and an appetizer. I've definitely had better sandwiches and drinks for less $ elsewhere.

The decor is pretty cool, but for brunch on a Sunday it was REALLY dark in there. This isn't the place to go if you're looking for an upbeat, fun brunch. This is the dark and moody place. There were only a few other tables, but service was fairly slow. Refills on coffee and water when we asked, but not before. The donut holes and truffle deviled eggs as appetizers were so good. My husband said the eggs had too much truffle, but I loved them. My vegetarian omelet was pretty basic, like something I could make at home, but with less seasoning. The potatoes were just okay. My husband had the eggs Benedict and he wasn't impressed either. He said his seemed underseasoned too, like the Hollandaise didn't have much salt. The armistice coffee was good, but when drip coffee is put into cappuccino mugs, it cools off very quickly, so that was kind of annoying. Overall, our anniversary brunch was just okay. We probably won't go back here for brunch or recommend it to friends.

Reservations were easy. We were seated promptly. Menu selection was good. Drinks were great. Food came out quickly and was delicious. Our waitress was excellent and we enjoyed the service as well as the vibe of the restaurant. Love that they do brunch and happy hour. Definitely going to go back.

Excellent food and stellar service by Dante. The Restaurant Week menu featured their very best dishes and they did not disappoint. The steak tartare, scallops with pork belly, and flourless chocolate cake were all delicious. Will definitely be returning.

We went for brunch on a Saturday and loved every bite. The truffled eggs listed as "small bite" were mustardy and delicious, a nice thing to share as a starter (6 halves per order). Two of us had the seafood chowder, which had a yummy cream broth and chunks of crab, clams, and fish. We paired it with orders of crab-avocado-egg toast - spectacular! (It was actually too much food for me so my son finished my chowder.). My DIL had chicken and waffles, and loved the spices in the chicken and the crispy waffle. This was our second trip, the first time for dinner. It's pricey but good - worth the splurge.

Disappointing. Drinks took 40 minutes to arrive. We were almost finished with our meal before our drinks got to the table. The server was kind enough to comp the drinks recognizing the inconvenience. The food was ok at best. Overall, not a great experience.

Unfortunately Sparrow is always disappointing and I find myself wishing I'd gone somewhere else. I really like the vibe, and the front of house are nice and helpful. The food is always mediocre and a much smaller portion than I expect (I try to get something new each time I've been). There's a big lack of flavor and interesting textures compared to other restaurants of the same cost in the area. I just need to remind myself that I've given this place enough chances and to not come back.

We chose this restaurant because of the ambience and it didn’t disappoint. Great food, service, and vibes. We spent some time in the bar area as well waiting for our table and post dinner. That crew was just as exceptional. Dante’s great customer service was the cherry on top of our wonderful evening.

Everything was incredible! Great ambiance, food, and service. I can’t say enough about our bartender Dante, every drink he made us was amazing! He made us custom cocktails based on a few questions he asked us and made our whole experience one of a kind. Will ABSOLUTELY be back!

The chefs and the bartenders here know exactly what they’re doing, as a former chef this is hard to find most places. The ambience has improved so much since the old days of jpub, the quality service and vibe are way nicer. If you want some exquisite dining in Kirkland this is the place I would recommend ! Try the tequila sour with their special volcanic tequila, I typically don’t like this kind of drink but it blew me away! The lamb birria and the truffle deviled eggs were also so good I could sit here and eat/drink all day!
