    Wonderful spot to get a light dinner and drinks before heading out to a show. We had a concert to go to, so came by early in the evening for some sushi and cocktails and both were excellent. Our server was very friendly as well. We'll definitely come back next time we're in Chicago!

    Returned to my stomping grounds for a night cap drink. Enjoyed the drink selection but the noise level was too loud for being a lounge. I could barely hear my guest speaking.

    While boasting one of Chicago's finest views, the sushi is notably expensive and lacks quality. Additionally, the cocktails are overpriced without the expertise of a mixologist, and service from the waitress is lacking.

    Was absolutely to date the worst service I've ever had. We were the only ones in the bar and the woman serving us could not have acted more bothered by our existence. She was rude, couldn't even crack a smile, the drinks were sub par. I wouldn't go there again if somebody paid me.

    Service was terrible, took 25 minutes to get our two drinks from the specials menu with a total of 10 people in the restaurant. Our waitress would come up and literally wait for me to start speaking instead of saying anything to initiate the interaction. Then, we asked for the classic sushi and sashimi platter and they gave us sashimi and nigiri (we didn’t want to be THOSE people so we just ate it). Then since it was Valentine’s Day they had a special with buttered potatoes as a side. We got it and realized there weren’t potatoes and when we told them they said it was actually a typo (that’s a pretty large typo to have, especially after they had taken our plates away to exchange them for 5 minutes before they “realized” it was a typo). Finally they charge an automatic 20% service charge, IMO it explains why the service was so bad even though they were completely dead. I would’ve tipped less and I’m generally a very generous tipper. Definitely put a damper on our Valentine’s Day.

    My wife and I like to go out to eat at different restaurants on the weekends. We have Rebar a try but were not impressed with the experience. First it took a while to be seen by our server. Then our specialty cocktails tasted watery as if there was no alcohol added to them. Then when our first order of sashimi came to the table the staff spilled the ponzu from the plate across the table while trying to set it down. Our main dish which was the scallops and black cod wasn’t very hot. We loved the atmosphere and the overall service improved which we appreciated. Probably won’t be going back.

    This place bills itself as a sushi restaurant but they had no sushi on the menu. We reserved a table but when we got in they told us kitchen was closed and we could only do drinks. Bar tender was pretty rude to us.

    We had very bad experience. It was 6 Ukrainian girls of us, we just had regular evening with girls talks… Then 2 russian guys came in and seated next to our table. They started talking inappropriate stuff to us, but we were not reacting to this. I think it made them mad and they called security and managers and said that it was us who talked sh*t about the waitress (even though we never said a word about her, cause she was nice and didn’t do anything wrong). Anyway, the waitress just brought us a check and said we must pay ($700+ bill) and leave Rebar, we asked why and she just repeated again to pay and leave. Not a manager, nor the security guy explained anything to us (6 women), but just made us leave Trump Tower. Never again we’re coming back there, and we don’t recommend anyone to visit this place. It’s unbelievable that in USA u can get such an experience from pretty nice place in Chicago downtown…

    We came in on a Monday night and was hoping to find an experience similar to what we had staying at the Trump hotel. Sadly, that was not the case. I made this reservation well in advance and was looking forward to the “burst your bubble” experience advertised on OpenTable. This night was in celebration of my boyfriend’s birthday and immediately followed our dinner plans. When we arrived, there was no one at the host table to greet us, so we had to seat ourselves. We were lucky enough to have someone serve us, but others were not as lucky. In the time we were there, two couples, who came after us, were frustrated with the slow service, and got up to leave. The food and drinks we overall great. Oysters were fresh and drinks were refreshing. Maybe it was because it was a Monday that service was not up to par, but being a bar in the Trump Hotel, they should be setting a certain standard in service. Next time, we will probably try Terrace 16 for our post-dinner drinks and food.

    Food was great,people were kind, view was nice. Great place for drinks don’t know that we will return to have food there.

    El sitio está bien. Pero preguntamos en el lobby del hotel por donde entrar al restaurante en lugar de indicarnos el elevador nos envió por las escaleras. Los precios exagerados, la carne la pedí 3/4 me la pasaron un tanto quemada y seca, la ensalada no tubo buena presentación. La hostes cuando llegamos estuvimos 3 minutos sin que nadie nos atienda, si no era por el bartender ni se daba cuenta que estábamos en el mostrador de entrada.

    I was so excited to try this place. We had reservations at 10:45. We arrived and no one was at the hostess stand so we went on in. Bartender and servers were walking around, but no one greeted us so we sat down at a table. For about 10 mins we sat there and no one came over to us. I went up to the bar to ask if we needed to order from the bar and I was advised they had already done last call. I told her we had reservations so she handed me a menu and said someone would be over shortly to get our order. A very nice server came over and we asked about the appetizer menu and were told the kitchen was closed. We all ordered a cocktail. Cocktails were decent, but we were so hungry from a late flight in and had reservations to a place that advertised cocktails and small plates. This place should not take late reservations if they close everything down. I was very disappointed in the entire experience.

    My daughter, nieces & I were celebrating the first night of their mom’s 70th birthday. I told them we could get a sushi roll downstairs (Rebar) only to discover they were no longer on the menu! Anna helped us with the bubble drinks, and several pate’s and burrata (delicious) which was nice but I hope they bring back sushi! It’s such a nice place to sit & relax - the view never gets old!
