The Pillow Café is the go-to dining destination at Jacob’s Pillow, prominently located on the Great Lawn of our historic grounds—the ancestral homelands of the Muh-he-con-ne-ok, or Mohican people.

Whether you choose a seat at the bar or a table, both under our open-air tent, you’ll find a welcoming setting to enjoy a thoughtfully prepared meal. Try one of our seasonal specials, share a generous cheese and charcuterie board, or explore a cocktail or mocktail—whether classic or a little unexpected.

Our new chef, Kenny Cheung, brings a fresh perspective to New England cuisine, featuring the best of the Berkshires with an infusion of global flavor, and incorporating sourced ingredients from local purveyors including Jacob Pillow’s own Garden.

The Café is open Wednesday through Sunday — specific services and times available on the dining schedule. Reservations for tables are strongly encouraged. When booking, please let us know your showtime so we can time your visit with care.

I was so surprised at how good the food and service were. I highly recommend the chicken dish - so excellent I want to come back just for that. The Esplanida drink was a delicious margarita. Highly recommend going here before or after a show.

Sadly, the food was mediocre for everyone in our party and did not live up to meals we’ve enjoyed at the Cafe in past seasons at Jacob’s Pillow.

Perhaps the difficulty is that this was the first week of the season. However, it took an inordinately long time to receive our orders and they were not correct. We asked for separate checks and at the end were informed that the only option was to divide the total by the five members of our party. I probably will choose another location next time.

The season has just begun and the team has not has a lot of time working or training together. The food was very, very good. The service team tried but there is nothing like time and experience to improve on their actions. I will be returning over the course of the season and look forward the improvements, Better weather would have also helped - but not much The Pillow can do about that

Maybe this was opening night and the staff was not trained, but we waited two hours for an entrée that never showed up until after we had asked for the check. It looked like it had been sitting around for a couple of hours as well. Basically, the staff was clueless, even though we were checked on by a couple of people who looked like they should be supervising. I hope you get it together before the season ends

It great to have lunch and attend a performance. The food is meh. The location is what this restaurant is all about.

Lobster roll tasted good but for lobster in season it was way overpriced for small quantity Service was pleasant but our server tended to disappear and did not check in with us Pleasant but I still think you’ve got work to do

We've eaten at the Cafe a few times in past seasons, and the food was so much better. The menu right now is rather limited. Food portions were very small for the prices being charged; not a great value. Thank goodness for the good bread basket. We had the salmon dish and the airline chicken dish. Both were uninspired; the salmon was boring, only helped by the maple dressing on the brussel sprouts. The mocktails were fine. Our server was very attentive however.
