Great food! The waitress was very polite when she was at our table. However wasn’t attentive, wasn’t given a check but paid on the tablet, after that we waited and waited for a box. Never got it and left the food there. I wanted to take it home and eat it later. Wasn’t a busy time either, hardly anyone dining at the moment. Maybe they’re short staffed. But would love to come again for the food, just not the best service in my opinion.

Long wait to be seated although I had a reservation. Long wait for appetizers, ended up leaving after receiving appetizer because of the terrible service

⭐️⭐️⭐️ We dined at Kona Grill on Father’s Day with a large party of 17, and I want to give special recognition to the woman I believe was the general manager—she was truly outstanding. She made sure our reservation was handled efficiently and treated us with such kindness and professionalism. Her customer service really stood out and made a positive impression. That said, the rest of the experience was mixed. Our food took quite a while to come out, which was frustrating. The general manager did apologize for the delay, which I appreciated. However, our server wasn’t very attentive—I asked for a Coke Zero refill and never received it. Because of that, I only left a small tip. Also, it was surprising that on a busy holiday like Father’s Day, there was only one burrito available. My brother and cousin both ordered it, but only one could be served. The restaurant wasn’t packed, just steady, so that was confusing. I ordered the Wagyu fried rice and was disappointed—the Wagyu was cooked well-done (I asked for medium-well), the portion was small, and the rice was a bit too crunchy. I normally don’t leave reviews, but for the prices Kona Grill charges, I expected a higher level of consistency and service. If the staff matched the energy and professionalism of the general manager we had that day, the experience would’ve been much better.

We had a wonderful experience for Father’s Day. A group of 11, we were seated in our own room. Allowing us the comfort to enjoy each other‘s company without the distraction of others or being a distraction to others. The food was delicious. Although there was a hiccup with our order, the manager proactively made up for it, which is rare nowadays. I would definitely recommend Kona Grill.

Party of 4 for a Fathers Day meal. First time for everyone. Ended up with 3 stir fry meals and I tried the shrimp tacos. One of us tried the Macadamian Nut chicken dish. Unimpressed for it to be a restaurant fave. Maybe a crispier coating and well seasoned chicken would elevate this dish. We sent it back. Our server, Connor, was good. My rum drink was nice and strong. Got a slice of chocolate cake to go. Ambience and decor was very nice. Pricing was just a bit on the higher end. Overall, it was worth the try.

Disappointed. We were charged twice for our appetizer. Didn’t realize this until the next day. I had the chicken lemon penne. My chicken was gristly. Which to me is not good. It was a special event my husband and I were celebrating. They sat us right next to the kitchen. So the ambiance wasn’t very good. Chairs are not comfortable. Overall we were disappointed. Won’t be going back.

Overall experience was not very good. The food was below average. It took forever to get drinks. Apps came out at the same time as our main course.
