We went to Sunday brunch for my Birthday and it was everything the food the ambiance the music the staff everything was a total vibe. I haven’t enjoyed myself this much in a longtime. And a special shout out to our waitress Victoria who had us turnt from the beginning she was the best and made it a very memorable experience. She also had the most patience ever because my sister was lit and on one 🤣

I loved my visit to Loulou…. The ambience is beautiful and the staff attentive. The background music was great even before the DJ started. I wish their whiskey and scotch selection was a little better but I concede it’s a French inspired place so the focus is on the wine. I got the steak frites, the chimmichuri was excellent.

When we showed up we where not asked if we had reservations just told “we only babe brunch” I told the host no worries we have reservations. We where told to follow him which we did where we where seated in the sun at 3pm. The restaurant was maybe 60% full at this time. Which in a post Covid world I understand everyone is short staffed. A beverage server came over to give us water and was shocked that they seated us right in the sun and mentioned that the owner has not placed anything to cover it yet. I asked if we can be moved and after a few min I asked again. The sun was so bright you couldn’t read the menu even with our glasses on. We where then moved to a completely empty section of the restaurant where it looked like the owners where having a meeting and sat at a 6 person booth we where two. We where given menus but where told it’s buffet style. We where seated on the top level meaning we had to go down two levels to grab our own food. I was so turned off by the entire experience we decided to leave. This place prior to the new owner ship used to me my favorite brunch spot. It was called Sonoma wine I think. I have never in my life left a reservation I always give a place a shot. But the vide was soo off it was unfortunate because the dj was great and the decore is super cute. I’m not sure what the new French owner have in mind for this place but it’s not it.

We went there for Sunday brunch. Fantastic atmosphere, impeccable service and very good food. Live music and DJ made for a super festive atmosphere. if a bit too loud.

Such a cute place!!! Right in the Promenade area with rooftop views. When it gets colder they have blankets for you to keep warm. The food was delicious and the drinks were SO good!! Loved it!

The noise level at Lou Lou was unacceptable. There was a good live DJ but we couldn't talk to our table. We politely asked for the level to be slightly turned down, we know it was part of the scene and ambience, but we were told despite many complaints there was nothing that could be done. Go if you like very loud music and ok food but don't expect to have a conversation on a saturday night.

A must go for a fun and delicious brunch spot. Food buffet was good, drinks, waitstaff was great and the DJ was on point. She had the crowd engaged and dancing. So much fun. Great spot for a birthday brunch also. The staff dressed up and did dances for the bday people!! The spot is soo cute and chic. Def check it out.

Place is beautiful. Has tons of potential. Half the food was really great (get the duck!!!!!) but the French onion soup, skirt steak, escargot is Not at all. And the new Racelette melted cheese thing is way overpriced and the tiny portion you get. Portion of food to accompany was good. But the cheese was way too little.

Tried the restaurant for early dinner on Sunday. The redo on the interior was nicely done. The bar is comfortable and the bar staff is good. However, staff overall seems distracted and overwhelmed--perhaps additional wait staff is needed. Now the bad--the food is really disappointing. The portions are small and under seasoned. The grilled octopus was cold and the portion was really small. The oysters were not well cleaned--they were sent back because they were sandy. The lamb chops were good size, but pretty bland. I would go back, but just to get a drink in the bar.

Lou Lou is a great blend of fine dining restaurang and nightclub. The food was delicious, good sized portions, a great bar and wine list, and they really embrace celebrations. There were sparklers shooting off all over the restaurant for this birthday or that celebration. It happened to be my birthday and it was a memorable experience. This place is great...enjoy!

Let me just start by saying that this place was the place to be on a Saturday morning. When I walked into this beautiful restaurant I was instantly intrigued by how the location makes you feel like you are on a tropical island vacationing. The brunch had so many different items to choose from such as an omelette station, bacon, sausage, salads, steak , fish and chips, fried chicken and different pizzas to choose And plenty more … The one part that I really enjoyed was how involved the dj and the servers are in your experience. One moment u have a regular waiter taking your order then the next time you see your waiter, they are dressed up and breaking it down on the dance floor to wish someone a happy birthday! Not only does that make customers feel important but it honeslty made my experience amazing because we all felt like we were at one big party. The music was a mix of R&b and some old school hip hop but with a little techno twist. I have never seen so many ppl out on one dance floor at a restaurant! Thank you to my waiter James! You were amazing ! You kept the drinks coming and always made sure we were okay! Thank you Lou Lou’s for a great experience , I will fersure be back soon❤️( oh also the ROSES GIVEN OUT WERE A GREAT TOUCH , I felt all the love )

Terrible. They call “rooftop” but is in the 3rd floor of a shopping mall!! Arrived 20.35 they warned the kitchen was about to close. Food was bad. Definitively not a good option in LA

We were greeted and offered drinks fairly quickly after being seated. We asked for a few more minutes. Literally 30mins goes by and she never came back. Then another server came up to take our order but in the same breath told us we can move out of the sun so we did. The table we wanted was in a closed section although it literally was touching the larger table we were told to sit at. Then she left and never came back. So we went to the bar and tried to order but the bartender said lunch is no longer being served as it is now 3pm. He took the menus and gave us a very limited happy hour menu. At that point we were absolutely annoyed and left. We waited about 45 mins to order and then was told we could no longer order off the menu we had been studying for the last hour. Yes it seemed like there was only 2 servers but it was not crazy busy. A lot of tables but still seemed very chill on a Monday afternoon. I had previously dined and had a great experience. This time I bought a different friend and left upset.

The server came to our table 3 time: once to get our drink and food order then 30 minutes later after we called him to let him know about our concerns about our fidgety table, our need for utensils, and plates then other servers came to help for that, then last time for check which he awkwardly stood over me super close. He clearly doesn’t want to work there and it made my wife and I really uncomfortable. Out of the 6 dishes we ordered we didn’t like two of them. And our drinks were not good, tasted like cheap alcohol. Because of the nice other kitchen servers we still gave a good tip but next time I’d stay away from servers like him.

Buzzy atmosphere and great pizzas. We went with our kids and I wouldn't recommend it for families as it had a more grown-up/party atmosphere and they found it a bit noisy (although they enjoyed the pizza too).

I went for my birthday everyone was super nice our first meeting with Sophia at check in was pleasant, we asked to change our table and she accommodated our request no questions asked. Antonio was Amazing super attentive, very positive, walked us down to where the food was. Suggested the drinks which were great, Antonio is definitely a rare find extraordinary customer service so welcoming. Dj keith set the vibe he scanned the room, lost count of the birthday shout outs introduced himself at our table danced with the crowd I loved it. The FOOD was amazing, the food options were great everything fresh. I have no complaints 100/10. I will definitely be back, LouLou exceeded my expectations

This is truly a spot for a fun celebration dinner, but do not go for just for the food. The drinks were good and had pretty presentation. All of the food was average quality and definitely expensive for what it was. Nothing wowed me with the pizza, pesto pasta, salmon, onion soup, shrimp and rice, steak frites nor octopus. They all needed seasoning or was something you could throw together at home. They also had the scallop ceviche available but no scallops left for the scallop entree??? It was incredibly loud with the DJ and we often could not hear each other or the waitress. The waitress was a bit un knowledgeable about the menu and often had to check back. However, they did bring out a dessert of choice and sparklers for a birthday so it is quite entertaining.
