Robin Menlo Park is a contemporary Japanese restaurant focused on providing a personalized omakase experience using the most pristine ingredients available from the markets each day. Prices range from $109 to $209 depending on each guests unique preferences. Chef/owner Adam Tortosa (1760, LA's Ink) worked in LA under master sushi chef Katsuya Uechi, but here he's putting his own spin on the fish he prepares. Other reasons to visit: the stylish interior, hip hop soundtrack, and pretty ceramics made by local craftsmen.

My wife and I had an amazing time at Robin Menlo Park for her birthday. We sat at the omakase bar, and each course was a culinary masterpiece. Our server and chef were so friendly and made the vibes feel special. Everything was perfectly prepared, presented beautifully, and served with great care. It was the perfect place for a special occasion, and we’ll definitely be back. If you’re looking for a memorable dining experience, I highly recommend the bar seats.

This was the best sushi experience of our lives. Our taste buds were exploding. Every piece was delicious. I recommend everything, you can't go wrong!

My husband and I had a wonderful experience at Robin. Parking in the underground garage was easy (big signs to point you to the garage entrance), and the restaurant was easy enough to find on the street side. I had seen pictures about their entrance being obscured by bamboo planters but the entrance is completely clear now. The staff was courteous and friendly. They were professional in their explanation of their pricing system and description of each dish. We chose the full $219 omakase to experience everything. The food was incredible. Each bite flavorful and masterfully articulated. We felt we received a wide variety of dishes and enjoyed each one. We were tempted to re-order some of our favorites at the end, but our bill was already pretty hefty since my husband had also ordered the sake omakase. We’ll be back to celebrate another special occasion in the future. There were a lot of dishes so the pics don’t show everything.

The staff really made me feel special for my birthday. They gave me and my bf free rosé for my birthday and dessert. Definitely a dinner to remember. The sleek modern interior and the adjustable price points for the omakase was something I hadn’t experienced before. This place is one of my favorite sushi spots in the Bay Area.

Details! It's rare to have a dining experience where so many details have been attended to so well - from the chairs to the stemware to the place settings . . . and of course the food, all in service of a sensuous and truly special meal.

Attentive staff, great quality ingredients (of course). A bit difficult to hear the chef at the counter probably due to acoustics of the room but did not take away from the overall experience, personally. Strawberry highball was yummy and refreshing; they have a house-made umeshu (plum wine) that I’d like to try in the future.
