    After sitting down and placing our order, our server warned us that the kitchen was backed up. He tried to help by bringing out bread that had not been warmed. It tided us for a bit. Once we did receive the food, our halibut entrees were good. The halibut fish and chips were partly done and had to go back. I suspect this was related to trying to get things out quickly. In the end, our server did his best and did remove some things from our tab. May have just been a bad night. I think that without a rush, the food would have been good and we would have been fine.

    Straightforward menu, very tasty food, pleasant and attentive service. We were traveling and feel lucky to have found this place.

    They charged me for a "remote location fee" but I am a local resident so I feel I should not be charged this. I've heard they are the only restaurant in town that charges this fee.

    Our server did his best to give us a good experience, but something went horribly wrong. We arrived for an early dinner at 5:30 p m., successfully ordered starters, and then proceeded to wait. As the tables around us filled in with newly arriving guests who also ordered, received their food, sat around for a while, ordered dessert, received their dessert, paid their checks, and left, we continue to wait for our entrees. The server professionally and apologetically came by every ten minutes or so to either profusely apologize for the delay and assure us that our food was being plated and should be out within minutes. 90 minutes after ordering, our entrees came out, and the surf and turf was stone cold. I hated to send it back because I would actually wanted to eat dinner sometime before breakfast, but I didn't feel like eating cold grilled meat with congealed mushroom and onion glaze. Another 30 minutes later, I finally received my food, long after the other members of my family had finished their meals. Sadly, we observed the same occurrence happening to another couple with a child seated at the table next to us and saw our poor server making the rounds to apologize to other tables nearby. Meanwhile, the additional condiments that my family members who did receive hot food had requested never arrived. Aside from that, if all you want is ice water, they have a plentiful, delicious supply of it, and the refills are very prompt and timely. The bread starter was a non-starter, and the halibut and chips had potential but when it arrived it looked like about half of the portion was missing.

    We went there specifically for crab legs and oysters.... When the server came to the table, he informed us that they were out of both, which was disappointing, but not a deal changer. He told us that they were out of crab legs and oysters probably because of the July 4th holiday, and that the other restaurants in the area would be out as well. We asked a few questions, and each question was met with a very smug and condescending answer. After ordering a round of drinks, one in our party asked a specific question about the "sides" offered, the server then, very sarcastically said...."let me make this very easy for you", and began to point out the obvious labeled sections of the menu (as if we were first graders), and never answered her question. We finished our drinks, paid the bill, and the server went over to the hostess stand and made some comment about us as the two young women he spoke to, both turned and looked at us. Maybe he was surprised that we left NO TIP. I have personally never been treated so rudely by a server in my life. The restaurant itself was very quaint and looked very nice.

    I had the halibut piccata - the fish was over cooked and under seasoned and the menu said artichokes would be included in the entree with it they weren’t included - there were about 3 roasted tomatoes included and the lemon caper sauce was barely detectable and had little flavor. Basically my Main complaint is that the dish did not provide all the ingredients stated in the menu

    The desserts were divine. Pizza mediocre and fried fish had bones thru-out. Overall pleasant experience with stunning mountain views.
