Item price was high based on the low quality of the food. The atmosphere was cafeteria-like. It was a disappointment compared to the IL Fornello in Oakville.

I booked this reservation for my wife's birthday. In the reservation, there is a space to enter info aboit a special occasion. I wrote birthday, but the server made no mention of it. For a place that is deemed to be italian, and for the cost of the meal ($27) I found it odd that there were no sides (salad) or bread to start. Though the food was OK (my shrimp scampi noodles and my daughter's penne were cooked al dente and the taste was fine, it left me wanting more. I shouldn't leave a restaurant feeling hungry. Also the kids meal at $15 was overpriced. I have been to places where the same meal is less than $10 or even free. The service was OK, but average in terms of attentiveness especially since the place was less than a quarter full. No top up of water. We won't return.

Great fresh and delicious Italian cuisine. Dan was attentive and so patient with my little grandchildren re their personalized selections. We all had a great meal and will definitely be back again. The gnocchi was delicate and the fig and prosciutto pizza was fabulous.

Our server was lovely we were the only table for lunch. She checked on us enough to ensure we were taken care of but not too much that we felt that we were the only table.

Decided to try out IL Fornello because they offer vegan options, as there are dairy intolerances in our family. We found the food was delicious, and moderately priced for quality and portion size. The ambiance is a little lack luster, and felt a little more industrial for an Italian restaurant. Was a little shocked they were not busier for a Friday night. Service was on the slow side and lack luster, especially for a restaurant that wasn't busy. We will most likely return because of the vegan options for dairy. Hopefully this place will survive.
