In 1959, Frank and Tina D'Ambrosio decided to start a new restaurant venture along with their "Paisans" Mario and Enza Volpe, after Frank had much success with his first restaurant, the original "Frankie, Johnnie, and Luigi Too! In Mountain View, CA. Named after a good friend of theirs, they opened the original "Giorgio's" in the Foxworthy Shopping Center in San Jose, CA. One year later, cousins Anthony and Louise Dambruoso, affectionately known to the family as "Sash and Lou", took control of the restaurant and ran it for the next eight years. Pictures and paintings of these folks still grace the walls of the establishment today. In 1968, Frank's four sons assumed control of the restaurant and still own and operate it to this day. In 1997 they opened a second location in Milpitas, CA, where they still offer the highest standard of quality food, service, and value to their customers. Bon Appetit!!

We love Georgio's Morgan Hill, the service was great, food delicious and were seated inside instead of the patio (after we made reservations for the patio) because it was a very warm day. They accommodated us with no problem.

Food and service here is always amazing. Very sweet of them to provide a free mini dessert to all the fathers on Fathers Day. Don’t recommended eating outside if it’s a hot day.

The food was good and the restaurant is very nice. The waitress was helpful but seemed a little flustered on Father’s Day. That was OK. We had plenty of fun chatting.

It was a busy day for Fathers Day. It was unfortunate that our young server was assigned two large tables, as well as others. Too much for one waitress to handle efficiently. I hope management will take note. The same could be said of the busser. It was two hours before we received our food. And we tried to track down a person to refill drinks. This is unacceptable in a fine dining restaurant! I had out of town guests and was appalled.

This was our second visit to Giorgio’s in Morgan Hill. The food was fine as expected but they appeared to be short on servers, the one we were assigned seemed to handle most of the patio, what we ordered took a long time to arrive and the server forgot to bring us a couple of items. Brought me the bill before I reminded him he had forgotten to bring me my espresso. Management needs to provide an adequate number of servers to handle such a large space.

We've eaten here before with friends one of which is gluten intolerant. Both times they brought regular pasta not gluten free. She has to wait while we eat our dinner. Also, I did not like my baked penne pasta. The sauce was very watery and not flavorful. Ate a few bites and that was it. Bread was very good though. Probably will not return.
