We went here for a date night out on the fly, read reviews and it was close to home. I’m so happy we did. Everything was great from service to food to how nice and clean the restaurant was. Ambiance was nice. Will definitely be going backs.

A small group of us were celebrating together and I love the festive atmosphere and menu at State Fare. Our waiter was new, but he was great and absolutely charming, making our visit just great! The food was excellent as always (half the table had lunch and half the table had brunch). We shared a couple of carafes of champagne with different uses for my mimosas. Highly recommend and will definitely be back

I took my mother for her 50th birthday and she had a great time our server was Emma and she was great the best . She went out her way to make sure we had a great experience. She helped us choose a great dish and was very understanding…i will be returning for brunch

We had a great lunch experience! Eric, our server, was pleasant and attentive. We will ask for him again! We enjoyed the Bayou Bacon Wrapped Shrimp, Fish Tacos and the Wild Berry Bread Pudding. Kim, the manager, also stopped by and visited with us. Since she has been a manager, we’ve had positive experiences dining here.

The frozen flight was great! The food overall was amazing; however they should warn patrons that the cat head biscuit is ridiculously huge! Impossible! Our server told me it’s called that based on the measurements of an actual cat’s head? More like a baby lion! I needed a to go bag! The place is beautiful and quiet too. I’d recommend. Everyone was nice. A bit of wait for the food but we were seated promptly.

I reserved a table for 11 expecting to be in the general dining area but the staff surprised us by placing us in our own private room. Quincy was amazing, even recommending my now favorite dish at the restaurant, the staff was excellent and on top of all that the food was delicious. This was our second time eating there and both times were a fantastic experience. 10/10 recommend

Food was great, our server (Emma) was awesome and super friendly. They sat us in the bar area which was a little noisy and we had kids with us so a family section would have been a little more practical. The hush puppies are a must.

I took my husband to dinner for his birthday. We had a 3:45 pm reservation which was perfect timing. It was the perfect setting and was not very busy. The food and drinks looked very inviting and tasted delicious. Quincy was our waiter and man I tell you he was right on point. We will definitely go back.

Love our time here. Food was delicious. We started with an appetizer Bayou Bacon Wrapped Shrimp. Main course 12oz Smoked Ribeye. End it with an amazing dessert Dutch Apple Pie, recommended by our amazing waiter, Chris. Very pleasant experience starting with hostess to our waiters, Chris and Clarissa. Appreciate the hospitality and the amazing good. We will definitely return.

Food and service were just OK. We had the Texas hot chicken (not much flavor but cooked well) potato’s were messy and I would have preferred them as an actual side because when the cheese started to get hard it was a mess to eat with the chicken sitting on top of it. Overall 7/10 on the potato’s and 10/10 on the cauliflower, but a 3/10 on presentation. The filet was OK, a 6/10 and the mashed potato’s were great. Our waitress & waiter asked us if we’re doing ok 4-5 times, which is great. On the 5th time we did have to ask for refills (our drinks were empty since the second visit). They were not busy and at any time 2-3 employees would stand at the host stand, bar, or in the kitchen. Would come back but only for brunch as the brunch menu looks pretty good and most of the orders being served at the time were also brunch.

Service was terrible, took over 30 minutes to get cocktails. Waitress disappeared at the end of the meal, ended up just checking out with the manager. Food was OK. Won’t be returning.

The atmosphere and design of the restaurant is nice. However our food took 50 minutes to come out. It was really busy, but what we ordered did not merit the time it took to bring our food to the table. The server was really nice, but we could see he was worried because the kitchen was so backed up. I used to be a server, and my husband owned a few restaurants so we we’re understanding, but the people that was sitting next to us wasn’t and they got up and left. What we also didn’t understand is why a salad and a chicken fried steak took almost an hour to bring to the table. Also, when I went to the women’s restroom it was only one bathroom stall and one handicap stall and it was a long line just to go to the restroom. My husband was like how did this restaurant get approved to open after inspection of the bathrooms?! One handicap and ONE stall for a restaurant that had at least 125 people in it! It was a bad experience and we will never go back.
