Finally had a chance to visit North of Bourbon for a date night, and it didn’t disappoint. The New Orleans inspired cuisine along with a creative drink menu made for a fantastic experience. From oysters, to scampi, Boudin Balls and more, each item just as good as the last. The service was top notch and the atmosphere was quaint while befitting its obvious tip of the hat to bourbon. While the drink list had quite a few bourbon cocktails, each one is quite unique and offers an enjoyable bourbon drink even for those they may not like bourbon. I highly recommend North of Bourbon.

We loved sitting in the Bourbon Barrel! We had been to this restaurant one time prior to this and sat at the bar and that was actually a really great experience, but it was really cool to be able to sit in the barrel! It was our friend’s birthday so that was perfect! The food and service was amazing once again. North of Bourbon is such an exceptional dining experience,if you’re wondering if you should try it, do it! You’re welcome 😉

Everything we tried was delicious: crab rice, mac n cheese, steak, and the pecan cobbler! And the drinks were fantastic as well. We’ll definitely be back.

Our server was Jack and he was very helpful! The seafood scampi was fantastic and the creole cheesecake was hands down the best cheesecake I’ve ever had!

The service at North of Bourbon was superb, and the food was excellent. The menu options are unique, and everything we had was delicious. The cocktail and bourbon menu options are second to none. If you are a bourbon connoisseur, you can't go wrong with North of Bourbon. My only complaint is that the music was a tad too loud. The bourbon barrel booths are cozy and provide a feeling of intimacy and privacy while still being a part of the restaurant.

This restaurant is a fun experience. It’s a bit different with portion sizes being small and menu items unique but the food was full of flavor. A bit pricey as expected. I had a roasted tomato salad and the dressing had too much vinegar. Hubby’s scallops were pretty. They brought out boiled nuts instead of a bread which we were not a fan of. Be sure to request a barrel when you make a reservation it is a wonderful feel of privacy. The bar is beautiful.
