We were excited to have dinner there! A trusted friend recommended the restaurant. The food was okay. Maybe we ordered the wrong menu items. My son had tacos, which consisted of shells and meat without much flavor; I ordered enchiladas, which were bland. The street corn was AMAZING!! The guacamole was really fresh and yummy; although paying $12.00 for chips seemed silly. We left feeling a little deflated after anticipating our visit all week. I might try again sometime and choose something different as long as we get the street corn, too!

They were able to take us early so that worked out well. Food and service was good. Only bad part was that once we got home we looked at the receipt better (it was very dark in the restaurant) and discovered they had charged us gratuity (20% on subtotal PLUS TAX-why include tax?) We weren’t told that by the waitress and didn’t see that so added $50 tip on top of their gratuity without knowing. After placing my review the management reached out and were very kind to help resolve this issue. We appreciate their follow up. Thank you!

I’ve been to this restaurant a few times and they’re always a bit overwhelmed even with many of the tables open. Most recent visit went exactly like this: were sat 10 min after our reservstion time, left at table with no water or server for 20 min until we flagged someone down, were then told that due to a couple of big tables in the restaurant, we would not be getting food for over 45 minutes at a minimum even if we could place an order (again, restaurant not full). Would be over an hour before we could complete breakfast and 90 min after our res time. why they didn’t take our order for two people and put it in before two tables of 10+ people I don’t know. That’s what most restaurants would do. But when we asked if there’s anything they can do, we were just told no. And then the manager came over and also told us they were too busy to help us. They’re really not ready to service customers. Needs a full management revamp.

Terrible Service. Took forever to just order drinks. Then had to get up again to ask someone if we can order. It seemed as if they were doing us a favor serving us. And half the tables food came out and was cold by the time the other orders came out. Service needs a lot of help. Good food & great ambiance otherwise.

So many flies, really made us lose our appetite. The fish tacos were inedible because the fish smelled rancid. Don’t know what’s happened because we used to love this place. It was empty on a Saturday morning, seems we’re not the only ones who had noticed it’s gone downhill.

We had a reservation. When we checked in they showed us right to a table next to a couple that couldn’t control the 2 dogs they had brought. I asked to be moved and they were happy to do so. 2 minutes later they sat a party right next to us who’s dog ran right around and under our chairs before they were asked to control them. WTF is up with dogs in restaurants and entitled owners? It took 10 minutes to be greeted by our sever and place a drink order. It took another 20 minutes to receive those drinks and then place our food order. Our food took another 35 minutes to come to the table. Never had our drinks replaced. Food order was wrong when we got it. Not completely different but did not match the menu description as they were missing sauces and ingredients described. We sat outside and the ambience was the view of a very busy round about.

Menu looked promising and very cute place. My chilaquiles was not good, it was tortilla chips with sauce and cream on them. My biggest problem was the server disappeared after our food was served. The table next to us had been abandoned as well and there was a non verbal disabled man with self regulation issues and his caregiver both of whom were trying tine as patient as they could. When the disabled man started to have a meltdown after waiting far too long for their check, it was heartbreaking.
