We got there and the first thing we noticed is the lay out is like a cafeteria. Sat down to order, my husband got a coffee, which never arrived. The server kept saying she doesn’t know where it’s at or what happened. It took 10 minutes to get water. I ordered chicken and waffles, the chicken was burnt and dry. The cutlery was cheap dollar store utensils and there was flies hovering over my food. The bathroom was worse than a gas station bathroom on interstate 75. The waitress came twice and the last time to give us our check. Offered 10% off of our two waters, chicken and waffles and burger. The bill was still over $60. I did not send my food back because they couldn’t even serve coffee I was afraid of what would happen if I did. This was my 45th birthday, we went for the desserts and left before getting them because of how bad it was. It was loud and there was children running around our table. Will never go again and will definitely not recommend it.

They were very short staffed. We had a birthday reservation and after being seated waited 1 hour before we even received drinks!! Our server was very knowledgeable and flexible under the order of waiting tables and bartending. The manager was chillin casually on the back patio as the place went up in flames. This was a July 3rd evening reservation but my first experience here. The food was basic and very small portion for the price. The entire experience was not worth the wait. I would go back again for brunch on a weekday in hopes of a better experience. I was just really disappointed because it was my birthday dinner.

The restaurant was fairly slow for a Sunday afternoon meal with friends. The food was decent and the portions were large, which was appreciated given the prices. I did not like the table photo sales as if we were at a theme park, but if you know what the situation is, can decline the photo. (It was my first visit so I didn't know.) My primary complaint, and why I will never return, is that I chose to leave an 18% gratuity since the bill already had a 3% service charge, yet the server/restaurant charged the amount for a 22% gratuity. I've been to restaurants with a bread or service charge that usually includes some benefit (i.e. bread, chips, nuts...). Since Sugar Factory charges the 3% without any such benefit, I consider it part of the tip. Over charging at the 22% rate (on top of 3% service charge) when 18% was clearly marked is dishonest. It is only a few dollars difference, so it's not really the money, it is the dishonesty behind it that is disappointing.

Is’s a party atmosphere. There is a lot on the menu and tons of sweet stuff but the desserts are way two big for a couple. We are a mature couple so it wasn’t our vibe.

We visited Sugar Factory to celebrate a birthday, having heard nothing but great things about the place. We planned to enjoy a night out, spoil the birthday girl, and create happy memories. Unfortunately, we ended up leaving early, feeling shaken and disappointed. Not long after we sat down, a fight broke out just a few tables away. It escalated quickly, with yelling, pushing, and even furniture being moved. I had my family with me, and as I looked around, all I could think about was getting them out safely. What was meant to be a joyful celebration turned into a stressful situation, with me scanning for exits and shielding my loved ones. I expected the staff to have better control over the situation. It took too long to de-escalate, and during that time, the entire mood of the place shifted dramatically. We didn’t feel safe anymore, and I don't take chances when it comes to my family. We left before we even placed our order. I understand that unexpected incidents can happen anywhere, but safety and professionalism should be the foundation when running a venue that attracts families and celebrations. I hope they implement changes for everyone who wants to give someone they care about a night to remember… for the right reasons.

Food was borderline average at best and overpriced for its quality. Music was extremely loud to the point it was hard to hold a conversation amongst our table. I have dined at the Hard Rock Casino (Tampa) location which was great, and had high hopes for the same experience in Jacksonville. This was not the case. I will not dine at this location again.

I must have gone on the wrong day. It was 5 groups of five at different tables. They were out of a lot of stuff on the menu and a lot of ingredients for drinks at the bar. My waiter was the only thing that was great. Had to move to another table after I received my meal because of maintenance. I am was on vacation for my birthday so if I knew of other places I would have went there..

This location was quiet. We went during the week and there was hardly anyone there. It looks a bit run down. The food was not bad but not great either. It’s super expensive for what it is. The service was good but the food took a bit long for the kitchen not being busy. We don’t need to go back.

The food and service was great. The bathroom was a mess. There was only one of three stalls working and no toilet paper.
