We enjoyed our return visit to Mexican Sugar restaurant. The guacamole starter was very good as were the cheese enchiladas and chicken fajitas.

The food is overall delicious. We were there for brunch. The brunch tacos were delicious. The side of black beans made the dish even better. We typically order multiple rounds of cocktails during brunch but this visit we were lucky to have gotten our first round. I was surprised (considering we have been to this location several times) at the lack of service. We waited a period of time to get our first drink order. We had to call on other waitstaff for assistance which added to delays. We asked several times and staff for their habanero salsa and got it just in time to have with our last bite. The food is great. Unfortunately something was way off during our visit when it came to the service.

Fantastic service, delicious food, and great drinks — all set in a fun, lively atmosphere. We had an amazing time and would highly recommend it! The only downside was that the upstairs area was quite warm, even with the portable AC units. That’s the one thing that could’ve made the experience even better. Still, we’ll definitely be back!

Alberto was amazing! The food was exceptional. You have a newly promoted manager on your team, and I'm having issues recalling his name. Young, Hispanic male... he was the icing on the cake for our experience. Very present, attentive, and welcoming. I plan to come back for personal and professional dining experiences in the future.
