   Love The Girl and The Fig. Amazing local food, wines, cheeses and charcuterie. Staff is amazing. We’re locals and highly recommend it. Tough to get a rezzie so plan ahead.

   I don't know why this place is popular. Got steak and fries. Asked for medium rare. Was closer to medium. Steak had large blood vessel and tendons going through it which made it hard to eat. Fries were good for the first 2 minutes then got cold and limp. Charcuterie was lackluster. Server kept trying to get us to buy more stuff, and when he realized we wouldn't, he tried to give us to-go cups to finish our wine in the cold wet park. Random child was occasionally screaming. Definitely not worth the $100/person we ended up paying.

    Fantastic meal and service, highly recommend! Chicken fried oysters, grilled cheese, flat iron steak, mushroom risotto…excellent Wine selection and the expresso martini was refreshing!

    It was easy to make a reservation on Open Table. We were seated promptly upon arrival. Our server was friendly and made great recommendations. The croissant was light and flaky. I had a Bloody Mary and pork belly scramble. Definitely a wonderful brunch experience.

    We celebrated a friend’s birthday here in the exterior tent. Atmosphere was lively, fun & warm. Exceptional service. Food was great-seasonal salad + arugula with goat cheese were delicious starters. We loved the interstellar special tomato soup with a bit of pesto. Shared the mushroom risotto, buttery flounder, shrimp roll, and steak tartare as entrees. All were terrific. Butterscotch pot Au crème and the chocolate trifle finished off a wonderful dinner! Thank you G&F for another flawless meal.

    Overrated. So many good things said, I guess our expectations were too high. First we were seated 25 minutes late for our reservation. It was an hour before we got appetizers. Food was mediocre, generally good but nothing to write home about. Service was pretty poor. Had to ask to refill water about 5 times. Brought out next courses on top of existing course. The bathroom had a line several people deep the entire night. It was ridiculous. Not worth the hassle to dine there.

    Very popular in a quaint neighborhood. We had a reservation and we taken right to our table when we checked in even though it was very busy. The waiter had great recommendations and we tried each one. Didn't disappoint at all. Highly recommend the milk and cookies were amazing!

    We ate on the patio. It is now covered with a plexiglass roof. Now, with the heater, it felt too warm and it made it rather noisy. The service and the food were excellent.

    Good shared, arugula salad to star, but needed a bit more cheese and interesting flavors. (More acid?) Got boring. Duck confit was very good as well as the mussels. The reasonably priced Chapoutier rose was a good match for the food. Service was excellent.

    The plat du jour was very tasty (salad and entree) dessert was rather tasteless. Wine pairings didn’t go that well with food so wouldn’t recommend it. Still a lovely restaurant with yummy cocktails and good food overall. Will definitely be going back again.

    The waitress forgot our drinks and had to be reminded. The chopped chicken salad was bland and the arugula in the fig salad was wilted. The filet of sole was hard, rubbery and tasteless and it came with a very generous mound of mashed potatoes that was pasty and over buttery. The hamburger was ok.

    They had our reservations and we were seated quickly. The waitress brought us water and menus within 2 minutes. She was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the food and wine. Within 15 minutes our meal was brought to us by another server and the wine and beer even sooner. All and all it was a great meal (with a 1/2 a burger to take home). We have been there a few times over the years and the girl & the fig is always wonderful.
