It’s a casual atmosphere with friendly and attentive wait staff. Our cocktails were well made. The appetizers - spicy cauliflower and fried green tomatoes were excellent. Two of the entrees were very good (the shrimp and grits was outstanding). The blackened Mahi Mahi was a disappointment though. The desserts were excellent - the bananas pudding and the pecan pie. Overall a very positive experience.

Made reservations and were seated promptly upon our arrival. Server was very friendly and attentive. He recommends the sweet and spicy chicken sandwich which I went for and was very happy I did. It was delicious. Not too sweet and not too spicy. Had the cauliflower and pimento dip as appetizers and also were delicious. Not usually a fan of chains but will definitely be back to this one

My first time visiting. The staff is wonderful and very attentive. Management is top notch! Menu has many dishes to choose from. Cannot wait to go back to try more dishes!

It took quite a while to get seated even with a reservation made worse by the fact that they seated people before us who didn’t appear to have a reservation. The food took a very long time even though the restaurant was not packed. I am not someone to send food back but had to send my soup back because it was missing the chicken part of chicken tortilla soup. We ordered two drinks and neither one was good or tasted like the description. Our server was very kind and comped the soup and was just very nice overall. All together though it was a disappointing dinner especially because it’s been so good in the past.

Food and service were great. Seated on time in a comfortable booth. We had the Fried Chicken and Biscuits and the Beef Barbacoa Po Boy. Both were tasty with a mild kick.

Unfortunately after waiting for our meals for over an hour, we left. The waiter told us multiple times they were on the way. So sad as we really were excited to try it.

This was my 3rd visit and my 1st review. The ambeince is Ok, only because the dim lighting is too dim for my liking. Every time I visited, the service was good. Everyone is welcoming and I get the sense they want you to have a good experience. The menu selection has a nice variety but not many options for the vegetarian or non-meat eater. The taste of the food was a mix between good and fair or average. I can taste a nice array of flavors but the food itself was room temperature, making me feel like they only cook fresh the things that get fried, such as the fried green tomatoes and the fried chicken. The fried chicken was hot, juicy, and tasty. I had white meat. The breast was juicy, every time. The fried green tomatoes, delish, but the grits were stiff and room temp. The rest of the food was ok. The biscuits for a cause were dry, hard and room temp. The jam that comes with it delish, you just can’t serve hard and cold biscuits. They make house pickles. If you like pickles, these are good. I don’t recommend the mac & cheese. I recommend the crispy potatoes, just make sure they are hot. The chicken & waffles is not the traditional waffle, so read the menu carefully. I’ve been there 3 times, at different times of the day. I’ve had room temp food every time. If they can figure out how to serve hot food that doesn’t look and taste like it has been sitting under the lamp or in the chaffing dish waiting to be dished and served, then the experience for me would be much better. Hope yours will be better. Good luck.

Terrible experience, server and manager disrespectful of our time and overall experience. Made 4:45 reservations and we were still waiting for our food at 6:15 PM. Poor reflection of Tupelo Honey.

We were seated at a bar high top which was fine. The bartender took our drink order but then another guy seems to be helping us. Service was VERY slow. He forgot to put our appetizer in and misheard a meal. We got food before the app but it wasn't the right food. They did quickly bring out the app and brought the correct food eventually. Food was very good but service needs improvement.

Half of our party ordered the "famous fried chicken" and it was so dry the manager took one of them off the check - that being said, our service was excellent. Atmosphere was nice, we celebrated a birthday and they definitely made efforts to make it special. Overall, we had a nice time, but the food left something to be desired.

Staff is super nice although not real crowded so easy to be attentive. Got the crispy Brussel sprouts delicious and I orders spicy fried chicken with waffle ate the whole thing. It’s good. We’ll go back.

Surprised me with the flavor of the food! I was not expecting it to be as good as it was. Smothered chicken great as well as meatloaf - at a chicken place, no less. Mac & Cheese very good as well. Out of bone-in chicken, disappointing, especially on a Monday Night Football event.

Went on a Saturday before the Duran Duran concert. Station Square was quite busy that night but we got seated before our 6:45 pm reservation time. Food was very good, banana pudding excellent and service was fast and efficient. Would recommend highly.

We arrived at the restaurant and got a lovely table on the patio. Our waiter came over and was very attentive. He brought drinks right away. We ordered and that's where everything went south. We waited over an hour for our dinners. It was totally unacceptable. The waiter kept coming back and apologizing. I finally asked for a manager. She came out with our food, and told us that the food would be for free. I had to let her know that the wait was unacceptable. She agreed and gave some excuse about the kitchen not printing the orders correctly. I appreciate that she recognized that our wait was ridiculously long. I will hesitate to return to this restaurant. The food was good, but we ended up taking most of it home.

We were dinning in celebration of a birthday. Each of us had the spicy chicken and waffles, the classic chicken and waffles and chicken and biscuits which were amazing! The mimosas were on point too and our waiter Danny was extremely attentive. The atmosphere was perfect and the restaurant had a great fun vibe!

I ordered the Chicken and waffles original. The chicken was so overcooked in the breading it was unpalatable. The other meal was grilled cheese. The cheese was not melted and whoever sliced the green tomatoes sliced them incorrectly. The sloced down the spine vs. across. The service was great, but the kitchen was slow. It took 55 minutes to get our simple meal. I don't think we will be returning. Sorry.

We enjoyed a birthday brunch for my husband. I highly recommend the biscuits for a starter, with the honey of course. It was a bit crowded and noisy inside so we chose to sit outside. It was a nice spot to watch all of the people going by on their bikes on a Sunday morning. Our entrees were delicious.
