The serving portions are huge; food is good. Drinks were very good in the bar. Didn’t care for the crab/avocado appetizer. It is super crowded there, but fun. Great food choices. Kinda pricey.

We went early for lunch so the restaurant wasn’t too busy but our server was great! Very attentive and so nice! We love the crab meat avocado is one of our favorite appetizers! We enjoyed our lunch date!

The food, service and ambience are great. We arrived at 4pm and it was lovely. From 5pm on it was very crowded and the noise level became a problem. The birthday shout out is annoying and took place 3-4 times. I can’t believe anyone enjoys it. It sounded like a. Army platoon shouting a command.

It was a busy Monday evening but that did not stop Marinet (sp?) from providing 5 star service to our table. Thanks also to manager ClayC. for checking in on us to ensure my birthday (actual day) dinner and experience was also 5 Stars ⭐️. We continue our loyalty to Gibsons despite the fact that we pass by multiple steakhouses on our 17 mile drive to Rosemont. We also love the food. David Harbick

I dine here a lot, and usually a customer dinner. It’s usually pretty great. However today was not a great experience. From the way the table was handled, to the service, to the cold food. I’m going to have to second guess taking a customer there after last night.

We had nine people and split the big ribeye coming out of the big porterhouse, sea bass, ribs and a few sides. We also had the garbage salad is appetizer. Everything was excellent including the service. One comment I would make is that they should have some more shareable appetizers as advertisers they have now are not shareable, this would be especially appropriated in their bar

Gibson's has a very high standard of service and food. My most recent visit reinforced that belief. Our waiter, Ceasar, was very attentive. A floor manager came to the table to ensure my guest's food was prepared to her liking. She has dietary restrictions. The hostesses were cheerful and the valets were also. A great visit.

We went for daughters 17th birthday. Our waiter Donald was exceptional with his recommendations from the wine to our steaks. He went above and beyond to assure we had everything we needed. All staff from the greeters to the servers were friendly and attentive. Friendly great abiance.

Visited Gibson's Rosemont location for a post-birthday dinner. Our reservations were for 4:30 but we ended up finishing our day a little early. Decided to see if they could push up our reservation time and they were extremely accommodating. Our waiter was extremely prompt and courteous explaining in detail menu items and any questions we had. Now I'll get to the real meat and potatoes part of this review. The food was absolutely fantastic. Steaks were cooked to perfection, very tender and extremely flavorful. We got the creamed spinach and also the Brussels sprouts as sides. We preferred the creamed spinach over the Brussels sprouts, the brussel sprouts were just lacking a little something but don't get me wrong they were still good. It was a fantastic dinner experience and one of my favorite birthday dinner experiences ever second to only have any birthday dinner on a Fijian Island. While Gibson's might be on a pricier side for some people the steaks are excellent. Certainly will be back when we are in the area again. Thank you to everyone at Gibson's Rosemont location, you did an excellent job.

Service was very good the lobster bisque was wonderful and only 5 dollars a bowl . Dinner salad was very good only 6.75 The porter house steak was cooked good could have been a little more tender but not unhappy Service was outstanding with the waiter and management who came over twice to check on us It was my second time there and I will visit again

My only complaint, if you can even call it that, is the new toothpicks in the white packaging pale in comparison to the old ones that were in black packaging. Those were thin and had a long sharp point. They were the best toothpicks I’ve ever found. I only come to Chicago once a year but I never miss my lunch or dinner at Gibson’s. Please bring back the old toothpicks!! Thank you, Dan Runyon
