   Another outstanding dining experience at Ava. Alexis was superb and very accommodating. The last dish was somewhat delayed but management compensated with serving it for free plus deserts on the house . I’ll come back to this place everyday if my piggy bank cooperates.

   Service by Gabriel was excellent, very friendly very professional. Food was delicious and presented beautifully.

   I had an amazing dinner experience at AVA, as soon as you walk into the restaurant it feels like walking into a different dimension, the atmosphere is very energetic yet very calm and feels like a private dining experience since it feels a bit dark inside in the evening. My server Juan was very knowledgeable on the dishes and made some very good recommendations on appetizers, drinks and entrees. The lobster pasta was definitely an amazing choice and a nice table side preparation. I will definitely be coming back .

   This was our first time here since moving back from D.C. We had a 7:30 reservation but upon checking in 10 mins early we were told they were running 25mins behind on reservations. We decided to sit at the bar for a drink, bartender took our order and gave us our drinks and that is the last time they approached us for the next 25mons until I asked to settle up only to find there is a 20% service charge added to every bill. This rubbed us the wrong way since our bartender was less than attentive. We felt their service was less than 20% and would have tipped appropriately to reflect this. Dinner waiter was very good. Food was also very good but again a 20% service charge was added to the bill. We did not like having our decisions made for us regarding tipping so we will not be returning or recommending.

   Food was average. Service was very poor, forgot a lot of our food and took awhile for little things. We also waited a half hour after our reservation. Was very loud, cold and dark downstairs.

   Great dining experience. Fun, happening place with people lined up to get in. Personable service and excellent food. If you want a special dining event this is the spot in Winter Park.
