We went to Boom Bang last night after hearing about to from some friends. I went in with high expectations and they delivered! Love the style and ambiance of the restaurant. Service was fantastic and food was amazing. We ordered the shrimp cocktail to start which was a little different because it was sitting in a tomato sauce but you get big shrimp pieces. Then I ordered fish and chips which was big portions and fried to perfection. My husband ordered the bucatini bolognese which he enjoyed but it was pretty standard. We ordered carrot cake and dulce de leche tart for dessert. The carrot cake was phenomenal. I still can’t stop thinking about it. We will definitely be back and can’t wait to try the other items on the menu.

Enjoyed my salmon a lot! Would not get the Ceasar salad again. Not done well. Just drenched in dressing with 2 whole anchovies on top. I make this at home far better & blend in my anchovies, less dressing, I add grated Parmesan. Was hoping for better quality at this level of restaurant. Friend wasn’t too excited about his meal, but did his best to enjoy. The service though was amazing! Great staff. I would modify my order next time but surely give it another try.

Excellent short ribs and Caesar’s salad, very mediocre steak and frites. Poor service in the bar, had to flag down the “bartenders” every time we needed something, did not pickup dirty plates even though it was very slow

Same problems that everyone has mentioned. Walked in and they didn’t have my reservation? So we sat at the bar instead and the chairs were completely uncomfortable and smashed together. From that point on, all I could hear was a DJ playing outdated music that was off by two generations. Food was fast food quantity at best, but up-charged by 20 bucks an entree. Waited 30 minutes for the check and I happily paid the ransom and will probably never be back again.

Wanted to splurge during restaurant week, especially at our favorite restaurant. We were served by Brian who was on point. We enjoyed the mushroom tart, pork shank (yummmm Chef) and the banana tart. All lovely along with a couple of drinks English Spring and Perchaud. Overall, fabulous evening, thank you!

Boom Bang Fine Foods & Cocktails is perfect for a low-maintenance night out! It’s convenient to the green valley neighborhood, parking is easy and there isn’t a long walk to the restaurant, like some other places. The food is good, though very mild! The short rib was tender, the pastas are good, and the cocktails are gorgeous! The pavlova for dessert was excellent; the merengue shell was crispy and the filling was delicately sweet. Other dishes we ordered were good, but unremarkable (Caesar salad, lemon tart, shrimp cocktail, etc). The ambiance is great. The servers are a little distracted, maybe spread too thin? The menu is inconsistent with labeling allergens (labels for gluten, vegan, upon request, etc.) Other than that, it’s a beautifully decorated restaurant, perfect for date night! The bathrooms are decorated nicely as well, perfect for selfies!

Nestled in the back of a shopping mall is an excellent restaurant. The ambiance and the service was excellent. The tomato soup was thick and creamy and well flavored. The duck was very clever. It was described as duck confit which it was. However, it was reconstituted to appear as a duck leg which was incredibly tender and spiced gently. Their cocktails are also excellent particularly their "Old fashioned". Highly recommend this restauarant.
