The food was excellent. Prepared as ordered, however service was terrible. Never had worse waitstaff at an upscale location like this. 20 minutes to get drinks, 60 minutes to get food, never checked on by waitress. Will not go back. Service was that bad.

Food is very good, as was service, but it seemed like our server had tables spread too far apart or something. It was a weird vibe of people in there on the night, though that had nothing to do with Sullivan's. Would definitely go back if looking for a nice steakhouse, and one that is not overpriced like so many others are.

The food was very delicious and our waitress was exceptional. I highly recommend checking out their free rewards program. We received a reward for our anniversary! Our waitress also gave us a happy anniversary card. It was a very sweet gesture. We had a great time.

Having enjoyed Happy Hour at Sullivan's, we decided to dine there for Thanksgiving. Upon arrival at Sullivan's it was clear that they were overwhelmed and understaffed. The being said, the experience was AMAZING. The entire staff went out of their way to accommodate our needs, kept checking on us while we waited for our meal and made us feel welcome. When our dinner arrived, it was spectacular! The entire experience was beautiful. A huge "thank you" to all of you for spending your Thanksgiving holiday taking such good care of us instead of being with your families. If you haven't experienced Sullivan's, I suggest you do...you won't be disappointed.

We have been here many times and the service is always spotty at best but last night was actually worse than I expected especially since every reservation made for thanksgiving was subject to a reservation fee so the management clearly knew how to prepare! We arrive 5 mins prior to our reservation and had to wait over a hour for our table and the bar was not open. The bartender finally opened the bar so we could at least have a pre dinner drink! Once we were seated there was no one to take our order! But we chose Sullivans bc my husband doesn’t eat turkey ever and he was forced to eat a turkey dinner last night bc it would be quicker than ordering from the menu. The dinner was abysmal! We picked at our meals and got dessert to go since we’d already been there for hours and missed seeing any family afterward due to the extended time.

Went for Thanksgiving meal. Food was great but I think this was their first time offering Thanksgiving meal or a prex fixe menu. The bill for three adults ($147) with three wine drinks ($51) and two kids ($48) came back $396 instead of $246 total. I told the waitress and she brought it to her manager. After about 10 minutes the waitress came back and said both her and her manager were confused about the bill and we’re trying to figure it out. After 10 minutes longer the waitress brought the bill back at $290.00 and said they had accidentally charged the kids meals with six different sides. We had to go, so I just paid the bill. It looked like they charged us for the desserts, which were included in the prex fixe meal price. I think someone set their cash register system up wrong. While I was waiting for my check I noticed other people were looking at their checks with calculators out and passing their bill around. All in all the food was good. Service was friendly. I really do feel this was their first Thanksgiving service and they were just trying to work the kinks out.

The manager, Kurt, was very unfriendly and ruined our dinner experience. Unfortunate to pay so much money just for the manager to be an a**hole. We simply had a misunderstanding with our bill, and he acted as if it was the end of the world. Our waitress was very sweet and positive, but he had tarnished the experience way too much for my families liking. Won’t be back, as the food was mediocre.

Delicious food and friendly attentive servers. The Thanksgiving Experience was perfect. We felt that it was a great value. We have been traveling on many holidays and never enjoyed a holiday meal as much as this one! We had more food than we could eat and it was next level. Thank you Sullivan's!

Our dinners were delicious. I had the braised short rib. It was seared and cooked perfectly. Accompanied by roasted carrots, potatoes, and onions. Wonderful. My grandson had a steak that he said was cooked perfectly medium rare, as he had ordered. Our waitress was efficient, professional, and had a great personality. We will definitely have dinner at Sullivan’s again.

Service was not great. Waitress was slow and forgot about us several times. Cocktails were substandard relative to other comparable restaurants in the area. Never brought butter when requested. Bisque was not delicious. Calamari was good. Quality of steaks was average, not exceptional. Waited 15 mins to order a dessert after eating, then another 15 mins after we ordering a dessert (on my wife’s birthday) to be told they “just ran out.” When I complained to the manager, he said that all the servers knew from the start of the shift. Not the best experience.

Planned our anniversary dinner here. They placed us in a private dining room, placed rise petals on the table, and had a card on the table. The atmosphere and ambience was fabulous. Servers who walked by all said happy anniversary, they made the night feel special. Then came the chaos. The kitchen set off the fire alarm and things went downhill from there. First course, soup mine was hot and my husbands was cold. Manager was quick to pull the bowl and and replace. Ordered filet, asked for it to be butterflied and well. Husband ordered ribeye well. Both of our meals were served to us medium and mine not butterflied as requested. Again, Manager fabulous by taking back to the kitchen. Upon return husbands was fine, mine I was able to eat half of the filet and when I got to the other half, still pink. I was done. As a steakhouse who does this day in and day out, you expect to have the meat cooked to YOUR liking, not how the chef feels you should eat it. I’ve had better filet at Texas Road House at a cheaper price. The one fantastic thing we ordered was the Lobster Gnocchi on the seasonal menu with a spicy jalapeño cheese sauce. It was to die for!!! Would I return, not likely, unfortunately. Big shout out to Michaela who was not our server, but was amazing with helping to serve us and has a great personality. If you go request her!

Understaffed and very slow. We had a 7:30 reservation and didn’t finish our meal and leave the restaurant until 11ish. Seated for 45 minutes before first drink.

Went there for my birthday with my wife. The food was excellent. I got the cheesesteak egg rolls for a starter and they were amazing. My entree was the 16 oz. ribeye. It was cooked exactly as I requested. My wife got the filet and she couldn’t stop raving about it. She also ordered the scalloped potatoes with lobster and said they were delicious. One bonus was, since it was my birthday, I got a complimentary dessert. The portions on the sides are for more than one person. So keep that in mind. Overall it was an enjoyable experience and next time we’re in Pittsburgh we will return.

Staff was very friendly, welcoming, and accommodating. Waitress even got us a free dessert because we were celebrating a 2-year anniversary. My daughter was graduating from nursing school and loves Sullivans. So we went after her pinning ceremony. They were very accommodating for my party of 9. I had to call several times to keep changing the time because we weren’t sure exactly how long the ceremony was. They never told me no….. They made it happen. Thanks so much

Great location and beautiful restaurant with comfortable seating. Unfortunately the service was poor and the food was undercooked. We come to this location a 3-4 times a year before a Penguin’s game. Our reservations were early so we could get to the game on time. Unfortunately we had to rush to the game because of the slow service. Sadly the service was slow and our waitress was not attentive at all. However she was very nice and polite. We ordered salad and never received plates to eat it on. Our steaks were undercooked but unfortunately with the service being so slow we went ahead and ate medium steaks instead of medium well as ordered. Needless to say we were disappointed. We understand the restaurant industry has issues finding good help and it’s tough turning a profit. But we do expect more from a restaurant with the reputation Sullivan’s has.

Outstanding lunch specials very reasonably priced for downtown location. Parking could cost more than lunch!

Our server was great the Table side salad was great! My ahi tuna was completely raw not even seared so he removed off our bill! Way overpriced for the quality of food.

JEFF WAS A PHENOMENAL SERVER! I wish the rest of his years in pennsylvania well. Also, there was a first date happening next to us and they looked so awkward. Thank god the Sullivan’s drink menu had enough drinks to survive them the evening! Would come again. 10/10

The quality of the food is just not worth the price. Our entire party was disappointed with the quality of the food, especially for how expensive everything is. Mashed potatoes were old, dry, and cold. Caesar salads were drenched in dressing. Steaks were undercooked and flavorless.

Great place. Food was good. Got a steak Oscar style which was worth the price. Steak was over cooked but I ate it cause I didn’t wanna he that person. Old fashion did lack taste which was the only down side to the dinner.

Ugh. Wanted to love but from asking to sit at a table not booth (hostess didn’t love but the restaurant was half empty…), to the food being only okay (they ran out of our appetizer but no one told our waitress so she took our order and then found out 20 min later), it taking FOR-EVER for our drinks (the table next to us actually complained about their drink wait time), and our check being wrong, we prob won’t return. The waitress was nice and nothing was bad enough to complain, but every part of our dinner was lackluster. Major improvements needed to make this a “fine dining” experience because this wasn’t it.
