The Red Dory is a casual fine-dining restaurant located in the Stone Bridge village of Tiverton, Rhode Island, overlooking the Sakonnet River. Chef/owner Aaron DeRego offers his personal versions of Mediterranean-style seafood dishes and sources most of his ingredients from the area’s farmers and fishermen.

We’ve loved the Red Dory for years but the last 2 visits have been lackluster. For the first time ever nothing grabbed me on the menu (no menus - just phone or tablet!! - hate that). Luckily it was just us - no friends or family - so a salad was enough for me. The space is loud - especially when another table gets going. The back room area (where we tucked into last time) was even louder. Now that the weather’s better we’ll sit outside and hope it doesn’t rain. There needs to be a simple “back up” entree - chicken/pesto/pasta like dish ?? that can work for everyone. Something to fall back on in a pinch. Good service so that’s always a plus.

Red Dory never fails to meet our expectations if not surpass them. The food is amazing. The people are excellent.

The revised Swordfish on the menu with mushrooms was absolutely delicious. It was cooked to perfection and so tender. It almost melted in your mouth. It was the best we've had anywhere. Will definitely order it again.

My friend and I sat outside on the deck, where we enjoyed cocktails, a delicious dinner, and a wonderful sunset. It couldn't have been better.

The oysters are so good, we order both raw and fried! They were delicious! Everything else (chowder, steak frites, and the green salad) was terrific, as always! Service was lovely as was the wine, thank you! C Lincoln

Had another wonderful experience at The Red Dory! Such an awesome little restaurant! The food is always awesome, cocktails - delicious, and Amy our waitress was great! I especially want to give a shout out to Jared, the front house manager! It’s so obvious the service is so consistently outstanding thanks to his guidance and his example. He literally makes everyone who walks in feel like a VIP. That’s the reason we so love heading to The Red Dory whenever we can! Thanks, Jared! Thanks team!

We like going to Red Dory. It has a nice vibe: pleasant design, friendly servers, and upbeat atmosphere, even though it's loud. Servers are friendly.
