Nestled in the heart of historic Grand Avenue, Bacanora defies tradition with its ambiance, intimacy, and flavors. Born from the visionary mind of James Beard award-winning Rene Andrade, Bacanora isn’t just a restaurant; but rather an experience. Rene and his team have shaped Bacanora into a haven for those seeking a taste of home and a warm hug with hospitality. Sticking to the roots of Sonoran cuisine, everything is carefully crafted over open flame y puro amor at Bacanora. If he’s up, then Phoenix is up!

You may still experience a wait time upon arrival due to reservations being booked back-to-back at all tables. Please practice patience and understanding if this occurs because we are working as hard as possible to get everyone sat on time and to have a great experience.

Parking can be found in the parking lot across McKinley from the restaurant, it is reserved for guests of Bragg’s and neighbors.

I found it to be a great combination of great taste and great portion sizes. The flavors were well-developed, fun, and unique. I look forward to returning to this location.

Was only able to get a 9:30pm reservation almost a month out and it was truly worth it! The food is phenomenal, service is so attentive, and the ambiance is so cool and different. The portions are so generous & worth the price.

Loved the quirky vibe of the restaurant. Staff was knowledgeable, and friendly. Food was absolutely amazing. We will make this a regular.

Service was excellent and the dining area was clean,…was a bit small,but that really doesn’t impact the dining experience. The food was very good. The issue as we all saw it was ,value vs cost was crazy out of kilter. 76 dollars for a half chicken,….too much!

Absolutely slaps. Incredible flavors, insanely high quality ingredients (in both parts of F&B), lovely service from management and Lily - go. Do not wait. Go. Now.

Outstanding food and service. Some dishes made for sharing, but they're clearly practiced in packing things up to take home what isn't eaten.

The Shrimp Aguachile was so good! I'd order that every time. Everything that we ordered had great flavor. My one critique would be that the short ribs were a little tough and chewy. The service staff was very attentive and well informed about the menu. They asked about, and were able to work around dietary restrictions.
