This spot has become a favorite. The location is classic Vermont and there's the chance to eye some interesting art while in the building. The lunch/brunch menu is full of interesting things and all have been delicious (well, the shrimp and grits was a bit disappointing because the shrimp weren't very well prepared). If you're an eggs benedict fan the eggs will always arrive perfectly cooked! The wait staff is on top things and fun and the view is amazing from the dining room windows. Best pork belly I've ever tasted, hamburger perfectly cooked, breakfast potatoes wonderfully crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, excellent salads. It's a definite winner.

Love the atmosphere. Server was very uninterested in our table. He was over the top friendly with regulars.

We LOVE dining at Curate! Service easily balances being both professional and friendly. The food is consistently excellent, and able to satisfy even picky eaters! I love their cocktail menu- and their dessert cocktails are outstanding as well. You really can’t go wrong whatever you order!

Waiter unhelpful, unprofessional, brusque. We were the only ones in the place. Were told after asking for bread that we needed to place our whole order before receiving bread. Food was unappetizing and bland. Will never return

Ordered couple of mixed drinks that seemed light on the alcohol content.

Rick, we are not a light on alcohol kind of place. We definitely go for balanced drinks, so maybe it did not taste of strong alcohol, but I am sure we put the appropriate amount in the drink. Thank you for joining us and sharing your thoughts.

To be fair, we went on Mother’s Day, there was a special Mother’s Day menu. Two potentially tough obstacles for a restaurant. The service was very good until the fateful “disappear after everything is served” thing happened… no plates cleared, no mention of coffee or dessert ( both of which we would have ordered) and we finally had to flag our server down to get a check after sitting, obviously done, more than 20 minutes. As for the food, it was hit or miss… a “bread plate” for $21 that consisted of one disappointing biscuit that could have been a mix, one very bland scone and____? along with 1oz ramekins of lemon curd? and an orange___? something. A wedge salad $18 (I think) that was ok but not great (***either the kitchen or the server forgot the add-on shrimp we ordered, by the time we could get our servers attention we were all almost done eating so just had them taken off the check) (It was not really busy in the restaurant at this point) The Crab Cake Benedict was very good but for $39 the crab cakes were so small they were literally obscured by the poached eggs. Lastly, this venue is in an art gallery and has an absolutely beautiful view of the Green Mountains, the entire restaurant is focused on the windows and the views … however they failed to mention in advance, or at all really, they are doing construction directly outside so the view was through a 6’ high chain link fence with a very large track- digger parked dead center about 50’ away (I get the fencing to keep people out, the digger however could easily have been moved out of sight for Mother’s Day Brunch and it’s easy to add a note that there is construction going on). All in all our experience this Mother’s Day at Curate was disappointing… and my wife and I both come from the restaurant/hospitality industry… if anything, we tend to give way more slack if anything…

Unfortunately, we had poor service as it seemed like our table was up for grabs and we had 3 different servers. We had 3 people ask if we wanted tap or sparkling water before we got some. Then when we got our entrees it was clear that they’d been sitting under a warming lamp for quite a while, as the eggs in the crab Benedict were over cooked and nearly hard boiled and the plate was very hot. (The server warned that the plate was hot, and wondered how that happened.) The waffle was overcooked and so hard we had difficulty cutting it. The server apologized and gave us a free desert, but the meal was already ruined. Too bad, as we had hoped that this would be a special Mothers Day brunch experience. For the prices paid, we had expected good service and food, but received neither.

I am very sorry to hear about your experience. It definitely sounds like a lot of things went wrong. While I do understand the water mix up, the food should have been lovely and for that we apologize. I will note in your guest information that we would offer you a complimentary brunch to give us another try. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

A beautiful venue. We were there for an event. Next year I’m sure the outdoor space will be available.
