Attended a show at the Masonic Center and this was just a block away, so very convenient. Had old-fashioned at the bar. Great bartender. Our reservations was assigned to the upper balcony. Unfortunately it felt like we were in the middle of the way. The toilet door was just next to us! After guests used the toilet, not closing the door meant that I looked at the toilet bowl from my seat at the table… we share the mussels which were the best and each enjoyed the lamb chops.

The food was delicious, as were the drinks! We made a reservation on OpenTable and then had to change the size of my large party. I called them, they were very flexible ans were able to accommodate us. It was great!

Great evening out for an early anniversary meal. We ate ordinary and stayed warm despite cold and rain (the electric heat lamps help, but we were also warmly dressed for the occasion.) Rack of lamb was memorable. One of the best (freshest) chimichurri sauces I’ve had). Service was attentive, friendly, and knowledgeable of the menu, wine pairings, etc.

Apparently, a very popular place to eat dinner pre-theater especially on Friday and Saturday nights. If that is your plan, get there very early. If just interested in dinner, make reservation for after 7:00 PM.

Very rough around the edges. The atmosphere is cheaply done. The noise is not relaxing, windows wide open so it’s too chilly at night. The service was atrocious. Mildly annoyed they were even there to help you. Salad came with the meal- cmon. The biggest problem was the food quality itself. All dark meat chicken for $30 like we were in a 3rd world country. Seasoning and prep was sub par. Such a mess. When SF comes back, this place won’t make it. Don’t waste your money and time here

Went here for dinner as it was nearby the hotel. Food was okay. The buttermilk fried chicken was not what I was expecting. The breading was a shake and bake type panko and the meat had no flavor at all.

We sat outside, the heaters made it very cosy. It's loud, but we enjoyed that as part of the city night life around us. The food was excellent, I had the chickpea burger and my partner chose the lamb chops.

Years ago I had a really nice brunch at Aliment, so I thought I’d try the dinner. It’s still a lovely place in terms of appearance, but the food was sadly subpar. I had the fried chicken….the crust was way over cooked and dry, the Mac and cheese side dish was tiny, and the kale was wet and flavorless. Adding insult to injury, two drinks and an awful chicken dinner came to $90 after tax and tip. Never again.

Tried to seat our party of three at high top table for two. Would not seat us in empty booth, which was still empty when we left. Offered a table upstairs in room with two large parties. No ambience. Soup was served cold. Salmon was somewhat dry. Couscous was not a great accompaniment.

I was so impressed with the food we ordered. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The mushroom fettuccine was so flavorful. I will be back to try other options. The mussels for an appetizer looked amazing. The couple next to us had the mussels . They thought they were exceptional.

Oh my gosh the wild mushroom fettuccine. I've always walked by Aliment and finally made an RSVP. The front of the place is deceptive, there's actually a back room and upstairs that has ton of extra seating! They're decorated for the holidays and the vibe is very fun and energetic inside. The staff are also very friendly and helpful. Food: - Rosemary Honey Gimlet: Delicious, strong, loved the rosemary undertone - CranApple Salad: Delicious and light, love the tanginess from the goat cheese and the sweet crunch from the candied walnuts - Mushroom Fettuccine: stole this how! This was a carb heaven of cheesy goodness. Definitely share this otherwise it might be too rich for one person. I savored every bite! - Parmesan Truffle Fries: this was the only thing that I was disappointed in. The fries were super soggy -- almost as if they were sitting in oil for too long or something. They didn't have the satisfying crunch I was looking for. We weren't sure if this was just how the restaurant prepares the fries but that was the only dish that fell short for us. Overall this was a fantastic find and can't wait to go back to try their steak and oysters (many tables next to us ordered these so it seems like a popular choice!)

The mussels in a red sauce with andouille sauage were fantastic and worth the visit. So was the Old Cuban cocktail. The ribeye and the buttermilk fried chicken were good but the accompanying side dishes were tasteless and bland. Service was great.

It might have been my fault, I didn’t see an option of indoor or outdoor seating in the OpenTable reservation request. We wanted to sit inside and were seated inside but by the open door where it was quite cool. We were seated there just after another guest asked if it was available and they were told that area was closed. That being said the service was amazing and so accommodating to our dietary needs. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone.

Good. They don't have a kids menu but made plain noodles. They forgot to make one order. They also included the tip (party size) but also didn't comp anything despite the fact that one meal didn't come until almost everyone else was done. I would have tipped regardless, but it felt odd to not even have that choice given the service.
