    I explicitly asked for a quiet table and although the restaurant was almost empty we got seated at a table just below a speaker. The day before our business lunch, I asked whether the music would be loud and they said no. The music volume was so high , we couldn’t even hear each other. We asked for the music volume to be decreased 6 times. I don’t think I’ll go back for business meetings again.

    The service was fantastic! The food presentation was excellent, but the quality of the food could have been better... the Steaks were just okay; they should have been as good or better than Daniel's or Met Grill in Seattle, but they were not even in the running. even the Desert Cookie Sunday was a great presentation, but the cookie was overdone. Disappointed...

    Although the filet was very good, the sides weren’t anything to write home about. My two main complaints are that the place was very much like a nightclub. They even had a DJ I believe. We were seated where there was absolutely no lights. We had to use our phones to see the menu and see the food we ordered. Very very loud place. Not a family place. People behind us were trying to have a conversation so they were basically yelling. Server couldn’t hear us, and we couldn’t hear her. Value is not very good. Expect to pay 2x-4x what the other restaurants charge. 1 crab cake which was sized for 1 person was $40! I knew that the wagyu was expensive, but geez. 6 oz filet was over $50. Someone told us (after we ate there) that they had heard it was very much like Las Vegas.

    i made a reso at 5pm on a saturday for the happy hour as the menu was very extensive and well priced. When we arrived, the place was a gong show. they were finishing up a private event so we tried to be a little lenient. The staff were amazing and kept apologizing to us but people were ROWDY - to the point of us wanting to leave. Everyone was loud, obnoxious and wild. We decided to stick it out and thankfully everyone started trickling out and it became a more appealing place to be. The manager and our server (who was SO sweet and accommodating), treated us so well it made up for the craziness that had ensued earlier. The happy hour is a HUGE VALUE. We got a $22 drink for $9. and these drinks were strong! There’s a huge selection of drinks to choose from too. For food, we split the beef tartare ($9), Wagyu meatballs ($6) and the tater tots ($3). They also served complimentary warm bread! The ambiance was cool and festive but i would recommend they ask these rowdy people to leave. it took away from an otherwise amazing time. Overall i’d come back - the happy hour was amazing here and the service from our server was great.

    This is a crowded loud expensive restaurant (even by Bellevue Standards). The food was OK but nothing special. The Brussel Spouts were way too sweet and gloppy. There are better choices in the area for dinner. The lunch specials and happy hour are a better value.

    We chose the “Date Night” Prix Fixe menu that included a bottle of Prosecco with our meal. It is a 3 course offering. We started with the Caesar salad and I had the New York strip which was tender and cooked perfectly. For dessert we chose the donuts. At $69 per person, I would make a return to try the other menu choices.

    This place was extremely noisy, with loud music that made it impossible to have a Thanksgiving dinner where I could converse with my kids and partner. It felt more like a nightclub atmosphere for a special occasion, given how packed the restaurant was. The prices were outrageous! Understandable if they were mentioning 'Ascend,' but not for 'STK.' This place is nothing out of the ordinary; it's like eating at an Earls. They've gone overboard with the prices. A small steak for $75, plus an additional $19 for a side of fries—meaning $100 for a meal in an ordinary place. Moreover, I've been to other STK restaurants in different states, and none of them had such tasteless decor as this place. Too much lighting and overloaded with unnecessary artwork and decorations. I'll never return here. I'm utterly disappointed for paying a $450 bill when all we had were two adults and my two kids shared a meal. I had hoped to have a conversation at the table, but we ate quickly and left due to the loud music. A terrible experience. PD Furthermore, the glasses were dirty, with stains and lipstick marks from other people.

    The food was wonderful and the service excellent. The downside was that I was there with older adults and the music was so loud we couldn’t hear one another or even think. I would return but with very young people who wish to sit in a nightclub and have a delicious meal.

    It was a really nice meal. The good was great, the service was perfect. It was really really loud and kind of hard to hear each other. I would have preferred it being just a little bit quieter. My ears hurt by the time we finished dessert. I think next time, I'd get the food to go just so I can heart whoever I'm eating with.

    Steaks are good, but overall experience and service not worth the extremely high price point. I get that high end steak houses are going to be high priced, but I would skip STK. You can get a better steak and experience elsewhere at this price point.

    Worst dinner experience that I’ve ever had for a restaurant at this price point. We did enjoy our food but overall it was not worth the price paid when there are many other options nearby that provide a much better service experience. Our server did not provide a level of service that I’d expect for a high quality steakhouse. He wasn’t very friendly and was quite condescending and pretentious. He was the worst part of the experience. I’ve enjoyed STK previously but will no longer dine here.

    Had a business dinner at STK. The place is noisy (hard to have a conversation), modern and the food mediocre. On a block of multiple (somewhat similar) options, they need to better. The meat wasn’t exceptional, the service clunky and the overall experience one I am not going to choose to do again.

    We went to try the happy hour. Food was mediocre at best: Ceaser salad was drowning in dressing, popcorn chicken was disappointing, sliders were OK. Happy hour menu looks very reasonable, but portions are tiny. Ambiance was weird: decor super tacky and music loud and annoying.

    We waited for at least 15 minutes for our server to take our drink order. The excuse being that she was in a all hands on meeting. No other server cared to address our table. Food was not fantastic. We ordered off the happy hour menu so thankful we didn't pay full price.

    Was overcharged $300 on top of what I paid for my meal with tip. Called them to get reimbursed and was passed around to approximately 6 different people. Finally, someone took my information and now the waiting game for an email back or a phone call. Someone got away with an extra $300 of my cash that night.

    Marina was literally amazing all night. She was so sweet and understanding. Not to say we were difficult but we asked for two birthday announcements and she delivered both beautifully. The second one was even better with everyone on shift involved. Loved loved loved❤️Great service and food all around. Loved the music and vibe in the restaurant.

    You’re paying for the experience… the place is beautiful inside and that was a big reason for going. Liliana was great. The food was average, though we only split one entree. “Award winning” cocktail was very good. Watermelon something . No single entree with 2 cocktails is worth $150 to me but 🤷‍♂️

    Food is nothing special, the service though is bad. First, most of the people we met there where stoned. We made a reservation and waited for 15 minutes for the table. The overall service was slow, we came for Seattle restaurant week, got the menu not right away, still paid more because of the butter even though I said that I don’t want any, he insisted and we paid extra $13 just like that. Our server had troubles concentrating on us, went away couple of times in the middle of question/order. The experience you have does not worth a $300 dinner for two.

    Huge disappointment. Out of five people in our party nobody liked their food or drinks. Cocktails tasted like they were made from cheap ingredient, like artificially colored sirups. (My cocktail had rosemary as one of the ingredients. “Where is rosemary? Oh, we are out of it”) Food … they messed up even with fried calamari, not saying about steaks. The cuisine is not creative at all, taste is common and bland . Service: for Red Robin level will be ok, but not for the restaurant with price tags $55-200 for mains. No service at all. Looks like they think that if they have loud music and pink lights, it will make them better. We had to ask to clean up our table during the dinner, servers were not interested in it. So, I believe you could find better places than STK to spend your time and money in downtown Bellevue.

    Food was good but ambiance not so much. Too “clubby” loud music. Wait staff was very polite but didn’t seem that experienced. Overall - weird vibe and a bit overpriced.

    What we experienced was unacceptable. It was chilly outside, and the restaurant door was propped open. I asked the hostess to close it, but she said "no, it has to stay open, but I give u a table far away from the door. It was still drafty, so I asked the server to please close it. She said she needed to ask the manager. Finally, the manager agreed to close it. Makes no sense to keep the door open. The Tuna appetizer was tasteless. The server didn't touch the table until the end of each course, so there was no one to tell. The entrees were medium instead of MR. Again, no follow up to offer a correction. Just before the entrees were served, I inquired about bread service. The response..."they probably forgot..." The food quality was good, not great and the flavors super weak. The service was ok, but subpar for a place like this. This STK is nothing compared to the one in NYC. Its disappointing to spend $340 for a dismal experience and no one cares. at no point in time did a manager touch the table and there was a total of 10 diner in the restaurant.

    Our server, Sophia, was exceptional. Very professional, knowledgable, patient, and responsive. The food was delicious. Prices were high, but the service and food balanced the cost. Liked the variety of music that was played. A little strange how all the women hostesses wore quite revealing clothing - I hope this was their choice rather than this being a requirement of their attire; one can look professional & "hip" without looking seductive.
