We used to go to Blend on Main frequently but had stopped for awhile. I am so glad that we went back and gave it another try because the food was spectacular. This was by far the best deal for Jersey Shore restaurant week and I am looking forward to going back and trying the rest of the menu
Lovely evening at Blend. Food was all delicious! My shrimp and grits were bursting with flavor . But dessert was exceptional- homemade waffle with ice cream! I will be back!

Over all good food , our waiter Brian was great.... there was a problem with my pork chop. It was plated nicely with asparagus and mashed sweet potato. I had to send it back to be cooked more. When it was returned to me it did not have the asparagus instead had one Brussel sprout and chop was all cut up. Since it was not returned to me with what I sent it back with I questioned this especially the chef did this not knowing if I could be alllergic to brussel sprouts. I really wasn't sure it was my food ? The chef came out and was arrogant about the situation said the kitchen was very busy since it was restaurant week and I was unfortunately one of the evenings errors. He did not offer us anything he just apologized. Not enough for an upscale restaurant. Would not return. There are plenty of nice restaurants to go to.
Wow! Amazing food, service and ambiance! Delicious food served on an exceptionally busy restaurant week Sat. evening. Every course we had was exceptional. Hats off to the chef! Wait staff was attentive and professional. Timing of the courses was spot on. Stand out dishes were the shrimp and grits and the pumpkin creme brulee. But honestly, everything we had was delicious and cooked perfectly. We really appreciated their attention to detail. We will definitely be back! Thank you.
Terrific food, great service and a casual yet classic experience. The menue is always interesting and the service is responaive and efficient. I would rate this restaurant continously at a 5 level.
My husband felt his pork chop was much too fatty, not cooked properly, and not a bad representation at a decent restaurant.

Went for restaurant week as I was looking forward to the General Chou’s short rib. This is probably the best short rib on the Jersey Shore and not something you find year round on their regular menu. The rest of their offerings were also creative and delicious. They also don’t stinge on portion size just because it is restaurant week. Overall, an A+ experience.
Took advantage of the special Restaurant Week menu to try this restaurant for the first time. We were seated right away and our server was immediately at our table. She was educated on the menu and answered all of my questions. The meal was awesome from the appetizers to dessert, the food and service was quite outstanding. Looking forward to my next visit!
Service was VERY slow due to the crowd. But our waitress Yvonne was awesome. She kept apologizing for the wait which we appreciated. My steak came out raw, not rare, but a new one cooked the right temperature came out 10 minutes later. It was our 1st time there. We'll go back after Restaurant Week to see if our experience improves.
Food was good, I ordered the stuffed chicken and the white sauce was cold but mixed in in with mashed pototoe and it was okay. Service needs to be not so rushed so customers can relax.

We went during Restaurant Week. It was delicious! The waiter did ask how we’d like the Salmon cooked which is strange right?
Blend on Main never disappoints! We visited during Restaurant Week, and even with a packed house, our meals were as delectable as ever. We tried the blue foot mushroom Arabic I appetizer for the first time and highly recommend it...delicious! The shrimp n grits is prepared in a voodoo wine sauce and is to die for. Lastly, the pumpkin crepe brûlée hit the spot for dessert...very tasty. Thank you, Blend on Main, for another awesome evening!

Funny you should ask me for my opinion. I was going to be nice and try to forget my evening at Blend.
I stopped by the day before to confirm my reservation and met the chef, and verified with the hostess and the chef that the restaurant was a BYOB, and that on Friday nights the restaurant serves Prime Rib in Queen cut or King cut portions.
When we got to Blend on Friday night at 6:40 for our 6:45 reservation for four, the noise level was unbelievably overbearing. We were told it was the first night of Jersey Shore Restaurant week. We were seated near the fire place. The noise level was so unbelievably loud we could not talk at our table. There were groups near us and it was just a screaming match in full force. We were told the noise level is usually not "this loud and because it was the first night of Jersey Shore restaurant week, the restaurant was busier than usual."
The only food being served was from the $32.18 restaurant week menu.
No prime ribs were being served for the entire two weeks of restaurant week.
We were served warm soft pretzel rolls and they were served with a raspberry horseradish mustard sauce. We asked for butter. We all started with the salad. I asked for no pumpkin seeds on my salad. My salad did come with no pumpkin seeds, but they also left off the blue cheese and the salad dressing. I was served only salad greens. My wife had salmon as an entry. She was satisfied with it. The other three of us ordered the Asian glazed short rib over sticky rice entry. Our friends liked their dinner, I thought it was okay, but my portion was a very small piece of meat a few pieces of vegetable and a lot of rice. The chocolate cake for dessert was the best part of the meal in my opinion. Our friends liked their waffle and ice cream dessert.
Our waiter was good.
I could not say at this time that I would return to this restaurant to give it another try. I really wanted prime rib that night and not a small piece of meat in an Asian glaze over sticky rice.

The complimentary Pretzel bread was a nice touch instead of your normal bread. Everyone in our group enjoyed their dinner and dessert and we will be back. Only complaint is It was a bit loud as there was a large party in half of the restaurant.
Best gluten free options. Dinner was very good. I had the crab cakes with charred asparagus and mashed potatoes. I tasted the strip steak, very tender and tasty. Delicious meal!

We were trying to pick a place to celebrate our anniversary and wanted to dine somewhere different. We decided only a few days before to change our reservation from another place to stay closer to home...so glad we did. From the moment we arrived we were treated like we were the only people there which we were not. There was a man playing a guitar softly and the restaurant smelled wonderful. We were seated and attended to immediately. We looked over our menus and decided with some help from our waitress what we were ordering. We started with and shared the sweet potato soup. Moved on to the Autumn salad and Asian calamari which we also shared. Then to the main entrees. My wife ordered the shrimp and grits and I had the halibut. We were amazed at the attention to detail and presentation of each dish. The food started off amazing and just kept getting better with each dish that graced our table. Although we were extremely stuffed and content,we decided to look at the dessert menu. We shared the peach cobbler and once again another great presentation and we were scraping the bottom of the skillet it came in. I would highly recommend that you make the choice to check this place out as we can't wait to return. On another note we also were pleasantly surprised by very fair prices for exceptional food and service.

This was our second trip to Blend on Main - the food and service are amazing! Can be a little pricey (worth it), so we save this place for special occasions. The first time we went, the ambiance was perfect. This last time, however, it was very, very loud - it's amazing to me that people will be so unaware and inconsiderate of other people trying to enjoy a nice dinner. I was sitting across from my husband and it was hard to have a conversation because the table behind us was so loud.
My mom has a lot of allergies, but you were very accommodating! My parents loved spending their anniversary there.
I didn’t like that we sat in the small room. I would rather sit in the main dining room. Still ...A very good restaurant. Great food. Will dine there again

Just discovered this wonderful restaurant. It is beautifully run, pleasant professional staff and amazing food.
It was me and my husbands first time there. The food was outstanding from the appetizers to the main course and finally to the dessert. We definitely will be going back again.
8.00 dining half the specials no longer have noise level screaming food good oh and the best no bread on your table till you give your order???Price level not bad
