Every time we visited it tal6es long for the food to come out and not in the order we asked for. Many times the appetizer comes last. Also, prices are a little high. Other than that, the food is excellent.

What I liked: outside patio, lots of parking, one dish we ordered was flavorful and tasty (shakey beef). What I didn't like: being served something I didn't order. There was a miscommunication with the server but instead of making it right he mansplained it to make me think I ordered incorrectly. Also, the octopus in the octopus salad was chewy and too much mint/basil for my liking. The prices were very high for just a weekday lunch with a friend. I realize things have gone up in price, but $5.50 for a coke and for an ice tea is pretty steep. Especially when their practice is to automatically charge 3% for using a credit card to pay. Not sure I'd recommend for a regular weekday lunch spot, maybe I'd try again for a special dinner because I really wanted to like this place, but I'll be sure to ask the server to read back the order to prevent the same confusion that we experienced.

We went for lunch this time. We ordered three dishes: a sautéed eggplant dish; an “Autumn” roll, which supposedly had sweet potato, carrots, some meat and some meat; and a braised short rib hand mi. The roll was excellent, although we saw no evidence of sweet potato, and was served with a very good peanut sauce. The banh mi was outstanding and, as a pleasant surprise, was served with a large order of French fries, also excellent (I guess I just didn’t really read the menu that closely). As to the eggplant, I cannot really comment, as it was never served, nor was it really needed after the other two dishes. Service was good and very pleasant, even if a little absent minded, as occasionally happens almost everywhere. We will certainly return.

The worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Took 25 minutes each time you asked for a soda or a glass of wine. They never cleared our appetizer plates and then never cleared our table. I had to get up and take the bill to the hostess at the front to pay. When we left, our plates were still there. Super disappointed.

I’ve been to this location multiple times and every time I’ve been, the service is never there. Extremely slow. Took 20 minutes for us to get the bottle of sparkling water we ordered. No cocktails - just sparking water! The food is outstanding which is why I like to go, but the service has always been sub-par especially for the prices we are paying. Food also took longer than usual. Always seems like there is one person working the whole restaurant. We sat at a table and our server was the bartender and we could tell he was busy because after he took our order, we didn’t seem him again until we were almost done eating. We had to order more food from someone walking by as we got tired of waiting for the bartender to come back. I understand restaurants being short-staffed but this seems to be a constant problem with this place.

The food is amazing. The one strange thing to me - there are no vegetarian entrees. They will alter some menu items to make it work but it seems like you are getting an entree that is having things removed, not an entree to stand on its own.

Food, service, and atmosphere was outstanding. Food ordered family-style for table of four was served very timely. Given that it was our first visit to Little Sister, our waiter was very helpful in selecting items that provided a good balance. We sat at an indoor booth but large windows make the room very open and exposed to the outdoors on a beautiful evening. Look forward to returning the next time we're in the South Bay.

The food, service, and ambience was terrific. I visited for lunch as soon as they opened. The host and waitresses were attentive, the food was served in a decent amount of time, and the outdoor seating was gorgeous. I will definitely visit again. I highly recommend the dumplings. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was a great spot. Parking was plentiful but needed some patience at the busy dinner hour. Busy when we were there at 7pm on a Saturday night. Food was quite good. We really enjoyed the Bahn Xeo, Roasted Bone Marrow Escargot and House Triple Garlic Noodle, The baby octopus dish was good but really spicy and the Imperial Rolls were just okay. Prices were also very reasonable. Dinner for 3 with 5 dishes and 3 beverages (no alcohol) was $140 before tip. Will be back!
