Enter into a nostalgic area, the Amalfi coast, yet in the heart of Buckhead. Open six days a week for dinner, Amalfi Cucina & Mercato is a traditional Neapolitan restaurant centered around a wood-burning brick oven imported from Italy. Led by Executive Chef Santiago Echavarria, Amalfi's authentic Italian menu includes Neapolitan-style pizzas as well as authentic appetizers, fresh salads, traditional pasta dishes and original desserts. Cozy up in a spacious booths or have a seat at the bar to enjoy the view with a signature cocktail.

The whole experience was 10/10!! 1st time I visited with my husband for lunch. This time I came with friends for dinner and it was amazing. Best food I’ve had in ATL in a long time. I liked that it wasn’t overly stuffy. Some folks were dressed nice, some at the bar in shorts, others in jeans…come as you are and enjoy a GREAT meal!! Make sure you stop by the Red Phone Booth for a grown and sexy drink after dinner. Heads up if you have an aversion to cigar smoke, it may not be the place for you, but we had a blast! Shout out to the best bartender, Dougie Fresh!

Surprised that the restaurant was barely occupied on a Saturday at 7:30PM. Really did not need a reservation. I thought my dish was about average in taste. I believe they are known more for their pizza than their other dishes. What I was surprised about was both my dish and salad came out initially made the wrong way. They corrected both. I will revisit next time I am in Atlanta and try the pizza.

Air conditioner was not working; appetizer had hair embedded but charged anyway; wine glasses were wet from dishwasher; forgot to serve salad that was ordered; employees were performing several roles and clearly overwhelmed; menu items were reasonably priced; food was okay but pizza excellent.

John, we sincerely apologize for the series of missteps you experienced—from the AC issue to glassware and missing salad. That evening’s HVAC outage has been repaired, and we’ve reinforced dish inspection and order-fire sequencing to prevent these breakdowns. Hair in an appetizer is unacceptable; our culinary director has reviewed sanitation protocols with the team. Although you enjoyed the pizza, we aim for excellence across the menu. My server Jenna took care of me and my family. Wanted for nothing. Cocktails were on point and delicious. Food from appetizers to entree were great. Ciopino had the right amount of spice with the bread was incredible. Chicken Parmesan and the Tartufo pizza did not disappoint

It was only two of us and the restaurant wasn’t that busy but the service was slow and we didn’t get bread or our drinks in a timely way. I ordered the eggplant appetizer and the eggplant was so old or thick or under cooked I could barely cut it. The spaghetti and meatballs was delicious
