Lucca Osteria & Bar is the vision of chef and veteran restaurateur, Claudio Ulivieri and his partner Steven Hartenstein. Raised near the Italian city of Lucca, Claudio’s passion for food began. He brought this passion to the States, and started his culinary career as a chef. Now, after decades of creating menus and running restaurants, he and his partner have opened Lucca Osteria - tapping into his roots - to share his favorite rustic Italian flavors with you. I’ve been to Lucca several times. This was the first time through Open Table. This restaurant never disappoints. I could easily eat here daily!

The food and service were spectacular as always but the whole team, from the car valet to the hostess, to the waitstaff and the manager really took good care of us. When I made the reservation through Open Table, I wrote that my father-in-law will be dining in his wheelchair and I requested, if available, a table close to the exit with extra room for his chair. I think that the entire staff was notified and waiting for our arrival. We didnt want to unload the car in the valet area because we need extra time to get my father in law out of the car and we didnt want to inconvenience other parkers so we unloaded in a different area but the valet parker noticed us. He came running down to our car, pulled the wheelchair out of the, helped get my FIL out of the car, brought us in a side entrance and then parked the car. He did the same when we left. He was wonderful. We were seated at the very best table for our situation with plenty of room for the wheelchair. The manager checked in on us often and our server was so patient with my elderly in laws. My in laws just moved about one mile from the restaurant so Lucca is absolutely going to be our new go to restaurant. and as a bonus, the apps, entrees and desserts were fabulous. the wine selection is great too. I HIGHLY recommend.

Excellent front door. Excellent service from Caroline. Very professional and warming. Service assistants well trained. Very tasty dishes. Authentic Italian Menu. Steven the owner and John the General Manager made me feel special. Chef Claudio showed what hospitality means. Salute!!!! Grazie Mille!!!!

Absolutely loved the music by Ross Failla on the patio! What a fun night! The patio is absolutely beautiful, feels like you are out of town. I highly recommend the beet salad. My guests loved the half chicken and pappadelle. The blueberry cobbler special was very good but a little pricey. Our server, Dante, was excellent! He was so attentive and was working so hard and it was a crazy 95 degree day outside. I really give him credit! Ask for Dante, he was so great. It was a perfect evening with the best singer, great ambiance, and delicious food and drinks!

Our evening at Lucca was wonderful for the most part. Our waiter, Boston, was very attentive and quite knowledgeable about the dishes we were interested in ordering. The food and drinks were wonderful, with my wife’s Dover sole being the highlight of the dinner. My one disappointment was that I had emphasized that we were celebrating my wife’s birthday when I made the reservation and requested something for desert with a candle in it when I confirmed the reservation and absolutely nothing was done. Why bother to ask if there are any special circumstances when taking the reservation?

Wonderful night. Food and service was fantastic. Had a Vegas style lounge singer there, Ross Failla. He was terrific! I'll definitely be back.
