Agave is one of my favorite restaurants and never disappoints. On this occasion I met a close friend that was in town for business meetings and knew this would be that perfect place for a great meal and awesome service. Our server suggested certain dishes that were popular such as the swordfish. It was as delicious as described! I have a new favorite! I would highly recommend Agave!
I’ve been coming to Agave for years! Great quality & value!
As always service was fantastic and the food was just right.
As always ambience was great... food was good... only complaint was the roasted corn was apparently pre prepared and not warmed before serving. Other than that the drinks were good and the dessert was luscious!!!
I’ll be back before years end
We had the redfish special with risotto. It was really good. The price was $26. The portion was average size. I would have liked more risotto but I didn’t leave hungry. The service was great. Our waiter was attentive and energetic. The environment was warm and inviting. The Top Shelf Margarita was amazing.
The salsa is average but I have no complaints about it. It’s a complimentary appetizer.
We were also seated upon arrival. The Open Table reservation worked.
You can pretty much expect for the food to be consistent and tasty. I can say the same for the service.
Drinks nor food were not fresh, food was out of a can.. it was not good. Corn came out cold, soggy, and greasy. Great service though - Lauren I think.
The food was excellent! Our server Taylor was very helpful & pleasant. We will definitely be back as there are lots of other tasty dishes we want to try!
Had a great dinner. Very nice but casual environment. Great service. Overall wonderful experience.
It was all just mediocre - from the margarita to the chips and salsa to smoked salmon tostadas to the barbacoa taco to the service. There just has to be better Mexican food elsewhere in this city.
Every time we have out of town guests we come to Agave....and everyone always loves it. The service is always great and the food is amazing!! If you enjoy southwestern cuisine you have to go there. Make a reservation and join the Agave Club. If you can dine early, the discounts are huge.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta. The food and service is always top notch!
Food and service was great. Made reservation and was seated promptly!
Agave is my favorite place 2 eat. Tim, the Manager is very courteous & professional as well as the Waiter Malcolm. The food is always on point. I am a regular Customer of Agave😊
Out for dinner and drinks with a friend. This was her first visit; she loved it and said she would definitely come again. Food was very great, as always, and the Peach Margarita was fantastic!!!
My wife & I were visiting Atlanta, and the restaurant was recommended by our B&B host, John Cardona. We were in the mood for Mexican / Southwestern, and Agave had a really braoad menu. Unfortunately, we never made it to the entrees, because the appetizers were so good. We had house made guacamole, a cheese dip, spring rolls and crispy calamari. Everything was terrific - but don't miss the Sangria! It is the BEST sangria we have had. I had the red & my wife had the white. They were both SO good. Sangria is not on the menu, maybe they want to keep it as a well-kept secret? Don't miss it!
Everything was perfect! Food and service excellent. Great margarita choices.
Very nice atmosphere. Great service. Definitely would go again!
The food and service are always wonderful! The Mexican Street Corn is amazing! They were out of fish tacos, but there was no shortage of dishes instead. The back room has a warm fireplace; the main dining area tends to always be quite smoky, so we prefer the back. Also enjoyed guac, mussels and ceviche! Wine and drink menu is pretty good, too. You can't go wrong here!
Great food, great vibe, great staff. What more could you ask for?
Great experience as usual. I notice a rush feeling after an hour in a half or after you stop ordering. May want to work on that.
Service was great! Food was excellent as well.
First time dining at Agave. I was pleasantly surprised. Love the atmosphere and margaritas. I ordered the fried chicken entree, very good flavor. The queso appetizer and spring roll appetizer was very good as well the key lime pie. Overall, excellent restaurant and I will return.
Celebrated my birthday
Delicious food! Service was a little slow, but very friendly. A great night for a work celebration.
Always delicious!!!! Can't beat the food & service
Our go-to restaurant. Love to bring out of towners here.
AWESOME. THE BEST IN ATLANTA. The food was seasoned perfectly.
One of my favorite restaurants in Atlanta! I would strongly recommend this restaurant.
Everything was good, except the Chips that were provided were stale, and we had to ask for another batch. Calamari as appertizer was really good and very large portion.
OPEN TABLE accepted my reservation for three people at 6pm on Tuesday. Wonderful! Except AGAVES is CLOSED on Tuesdays!!!!
As always, the food, drinks and service were amazing. We had friends visiting from out of town so this was our first thought when it came to a fun dinner spot that offered a variety of great tasting options. We scored major points with our guests since they loved everything about Agave and were able to maintain our bragging rights!
Most recently we dined at Agave on Saturday, September 29. It is a favorite restaurant of ours for its success at providing consistently impressive Southwest food and great service. The dining experience was wonderful from beginning to end, from being warmly greeted by the Host to the end of the meal with something sweet. Our good fortune was to arrive early and have a drink at the bar. Lisa, the bartender, is a delight. Her talent at drink preparation is impressive, and she is funny and friendly.
Michael, who was our Server, excels in Customer Service. He is well-informed about the menu. He exudes friendliness, warmth, helpfulness, and is attentive, showing genuine concern that we were enjoying the food and the dining experience.
Food recommendations: The Salsa, offered compliments of the restaurant, is perfectly prepared, as are the Fresh Homemade Guacamole (simply the best in town) & Chips, Cayenne Onion Rings, Grilled Street Corn, Pulled Pork Verde Enchiladas, Cayenne Fried Chicken, and Cheesecake.
If you are so inclined, the Margaritas are delicious. I enjoy the Traditional and my husband the Spicy Jalepeno.
We highly recommend dining at Agave, and look forward to our next visit.
This was my 2nd time coming and it was awesome. I haven’t been out in a while so I truly enjoyed myself. The food was on point! I had the Agave Cayenne Fried Chicken dish and I loved it. I plan to come again.
Thus is by far one of my favorite restaurants to eat at in the city. The ambiance is great, the drinks are yummy and the food is always on point. I try to make it out at least once a month.
The food is always fresh, drinks are the best in town. The scallops never disappoint and Hubby loves the lamb chops.
Our food was very good. Tasty and full of flavor. Our server, Malcolm, did a great job.
We had dinner on Friday and we had the best waitress . Her food recommendation was totally on point, and her service was superb!
The wait staff made our gathering fun and his attention to our needs was outstanding. Highly recommend for a casual dinner with tasty food
The beef medallions and scallops were superb as usual. Agave top self Margarita is excellent as well.
The chef never fails to provide exciting flavors and beautifully prepared dishes. We love meeting friends and enjoying delightful meals.
