This food was absolutely amazing!! We ordered the truffle fries, lobster mac and cheese, lobster lasagna and the lobster crab. Can’t put into words how much we enjoyed the food, excellent service and recommendations by our server. Oh, and the chocolate peanut butter cheese cake was a meal on its own!

It was very quiet, but it was a Tuesday night prior to Thanksgiving. The fish was cooked perfectly, and so was my husband's steak. There were way too many mashed potatoes, I think you should reduce that portion. They were good, but that was way too much. The oysters were very good, but I didn't find them spicy for being Louisiana style. They were good, but not spicy. The server wad very knowledgeable and friendly. Very lucky to have her.

The ambience and location are quiet and cozy. We sat in the patio with the tree, which was a nice touch. Kevin our server was phenomenal and he was able to recommend wines based on our tastes. I had the deviled eggs and my wife had the bacon wrapped shrimp. We enjoyed them both. The sweet bread with mahi mahi spread was delicious. Unfortunately, this is where the evening ended for us. We both ordered the grouper, hers grilled and mine the black grouper imperial. We love grouper and don’t often find it on a menu in the Northeast. The plate looked great, but as we took a bite of our grouper, we both looked at each other and knew something was off. The fish tasted rubbery and did not have the texture of grouper. I told the manager, who happened to stop by (we did not call her over) and I told her of my disappointment. Honestly, I never turn food away, but I was so disappointed and while she did comp me for the meal, it’s just disappointing that what was served wasn’t grouper. Thinking about it more, it made have been mahi mahi. Looking around the restaurant, the other meals looked good. I just won’t order the grouper. We didn’t get dessert, but the monkey bread is huge and definitely shareable between 3-4 people. We may come back, don’t know yet.

We love Brunch at Prime Fish and we chose the Brunch option last Saturday. We tried many different items from the buffet. Everything fresh prepared- tasty and delicious. The selection of the dishes and the deserts was amazing. The waitresses were often refilling our glasses with Proseco and water!!

This restaurant is a real gem. I’ve eaten there more than two dozen times and have never had a bad experience. Their crabcakes are the best on the planet. The service is always impeccable. And it’s a beautiful setting especially if you can’t get a table outdoors. My favorite restaurant in South Beach.

Always a great place to dine for fresh fish with family and friends. The specials are always a good choice and the dishes that they say are good for sharing are ample portions. The corkage fee is high but if you’re bringing expensive an bottle of wine it is worth it.

Absolutely outstanding seafood experience. We requested the Miami Spice menu, which was provided without any issue. Every item we ordered was a culinary masterpiece, some of the best seafood ever. The octopus appetizer was excellent, fresh, tender, nicely grilled, wonderful accompaniments. The swordfish was a standout, so tender and flavorful, and branzino was also excellent, such a tasty chargrilled flavor. Deserts were also a highlight, both the fried Oreos and the s’mores offerings; I actually preferred the s’mores. Service was a little slow, especially considering it wasn’t busy, but overall excellent experience, with a nice ambiance outside under the tree.

The garden is lovely. Our server was courteous, informative, friendly, and nearby for all of our needs. Our food was excellent; oysters, shrimp cocktail, crab cocktail, lobster, tuna poke to start and then stuffed lobster and steak for mains. Was it expensive? Sure but, unlike a lot of other places on the beach, the food was delicious and plentiful with ambience and service to match. We had an excellent experience and left with a large doggie bag.

Online price was $59 but we arrive to menus that are priced at $79 on a Saturday. Annoying. Only 4 tables occupied. For a place called Prime Fish, very seafood offerings - so disappointing. One review talked about the delicious grouper, snapper - where was that??? Only two basic sushi rolls - huh? Overcooked salmon pieces (no filets), a ceviche, and that’s it! I found that shocking for the price. No shellfish - oysters, mussels, shrimp, scallops! The carved meats and the chicken and waffles were the best and salads snd desserts good. But a place that overdoes the desserts instead of putting out real food (fish!!!) is super annoying. To top it, you’re entitled to one cooked to order entree. The waiter pushed the lobster omelet hard and it arrived with poor presentation and tiny pieces of lobster in it - flat, no character, no tail meat. Then - surprise - a surcharge (not indicated on the menu) of $15 for this item. And the server again, good, but rushing to give us the bill where he had the tip (for a buffet!!!) already set yo 22%! Crazy! Never again.
