The food was really fresh and so delicious. Everything we tried was executed perfectly. It’s more expensive than a homey Vietnamese restaurant along Argyle, but the atmosphere, service, and elevation of the dishes make it well worth it. I can’t wait to go back. The market salad was a standout in a meal full of standouts. Perfect for a hot summer evening.

it was my husband‘s birthday, and I mentioned it on the reservation and mentioned it to the waiter, but it was never acknowledged. That’s a little annoying. Also I got the vegetable curry and there was a lot of sauce which was absolutely delicious but not a whole lot of things in the sauce. My husband got the short rib pot and he had the same issue a lot of sauce not a lot of protein.

Would have given 5 stars overall but for payment policies. Would not give 2 separate checks to guests at one table, and when paying separately, would only split bill 50/50 and not reflect actual cost of two parties. Very annoying and inconvenient.

The kitchen closed at 8:15 pm. It’s more and more earlier. Service not nice. They pushed to leave, at 9pm the restaurant was closed at 9:15pm. It is very short, they rushed us to order.

We were rushed from the moment we got there and it was my first time. We were told at 5:30pm that we had 2 hours for the counter top because they were so busy and booked. Ours was a high top for 2 people. While we ate they rushed us to order they came by a lot, it felt as though they were pushing us to hurry up and leave. Was a celebrity expected? I am not sure what the pretense was all about. When we left, before the 2 hours, the place was still half empty. The food was good, but sadly the pushy service and the unnecessary rushing really spoiled the experience.

Popular spot for people going to Theatre Wit - for good reason! The food is delicious. Lots of dishes that can be shared. Dishes came out in a timely manner. Friends we brought for the first time were very happy.
