   We ordered the Sunday lunch sharing platter and a plain burger for our 8 yr old. Food took 45 mins to arrive despite being nearly empty. Sharing platter was good - plenty of food, tasty, good quality and good value for money. Burger arrived with all kinds of dressing, salad, pickle etc despite asking for it plain (I made a point of this). We asked for another, plain burger. 2nd burger arrived almost straight away, plain but burnt to a crisp. The burger was a complete waste of money, 8 yr old ended up sharing our Sunday lunch (fortunately, plenty of this to go around). Service was slow. Took forever to pay the bill. Better places to eat in Newcastle I'm afraid.

   We visited the restaurant at a quiet time midweek with few other diners but the atmosphere was warm and friendly. The restaurant is laid out nicely with booths and tables and space for drinking. Our waitress was attentive and we enjoyed our food.

   Had a lovely meal and sample a great range of drinks, great service, food and value, would definitely recommend.

   Food and cocktails were good. Only problem was we waited nearly and hour and a half for our food, I could understand if it was really busy but apart from our table of 4 there was about 12 other people in. Staff did apologise for the wait.

   The food was really good but disappointed the cocktails were from cartons especially as going by the name of the restaurant I thought they would be freshly prepared

   The food arrived in large portions and was so delicious. The non-alcoholic drinks were beautiful and made to order although a little pricey and took a while to arrive. I would definitely go back and would want a booth again as these are really comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful although taking the order and delivering the drinks was a long wait when we were on our lunch hour.
