Beautiful view - but the food was just not good! They forgot our appetizers and had to bring them out late - our mains came out literally 10 minutes after the apps. The burger was over cooked on the outside and mushy on the inside, the steak was chewy! But the view was amazing and serene… 🤷🏼‍♀️

Ambience and view are fantastic, craft cocktail hibiscus margarita was creative and tasty, hangar steak with red pepper chimmichurri was delicious but steak was a bit tough . Local wines were excellent. Maya our server was sweet and attentive.

I could not be more pleased about our new experience at Sapalta. Our reservations were indoors, but it was a lovely evening, so I asked if we could be outside. Had they not been able to accommodate, it would have been fine—but they were! The cocktails, apps, entrees, and dessert were awesome and we will return! Thank you!

Our party of 4 was seated in a nice dining room with a lovely view of the lake. However, despite few diners, the noise level was very loud and continued that way throughout the meal. Our wine drinks took a long time to come, we were wondering if they had picked the grapes yet. The onion/bacon pie was dry and custard-y, the green goddess Caesar had little dressing on it and big chucks of bread for croutons. We had to ask for more dressing, and was provided just a little bit more, and asked for cheese to put on it which was provided. The scallops on my salad were very good, unfortunately there were no other dishes with scallops. The steak in the steak frites was fine, but the frites were inedible. The salmon wrapped in cabbage was very bland. Needless to say we did not stay for dessert, and would not return in future visits to the FLX. Our waitress seemed inexperienced, and asked if we wanted dessert before we were finished with our meals. There were many open tables and it was early so there was no need to rush us. A bit more training of staff is probably in order.

Great food and service. Beautiful view. Great atmosphere. Sat outside with water view and enjoyed live music while dining.

The chef is doing a great job although the menu is VERY limited. The waitress who served our table was pleasant but clearly had no experience or training. She even had trouble using the electronic order taker. We booked a table for 6:15 because on line showed no seating available at 6. When we arrived there were 3 tables in use indoors and one outdoors. The other 30 or so were empty. When we left, 3 additional tables had been seated. We enjoy the water view ambience and truly want this place to succeed because it is close to our home. We have met the managers and they were delightful…but where were they and what are they doing to manage?

Beautiful, tranquil setting on Seneca. Very good service and a fun vibe. The menu is limited, but well done. Definately going back!

Small diner that is part of a motel by the lake. Food and presentation is upscaled and tasty, but service is extremely slow, and although the view of the like is nice, it still is what it is—a motel diner.

We had a great experience at Sapalta. The food and drinks were wonderful and the view of the lake from the outdoor seating was beautiful. Definitely would recommend, it was the perfect dinner spot for our girls trip!
