Took my friends from North Carolina to dinner here. They absolutely loved sitting on the patio watching the waves and the sunset. Shout out to Maurice, our server. A wonderful and attentive young man! Definitely will return.

Amazing location and our service was very good. Unfortunately, the beans were very blend. The restaurant charges an additional 5% service charge. Just FYI. Enjoyed seating outside and watching the waves with fire place close by.

Have enjoyed SEA180 many times but not so much this visit. We were doing a couple of nights staycation at the hotel. Requested in the reservation notes, if possible, an outside table away from the interior windows and the service station. Upon seating I asked where the table would be - and it was exactly where we asked not to be, plus next to the indoor/outdoor exit and pathway. They said they could show us another table - sure enough it was way better, closer to the beach, and not the only empty one. The holiday prix fixe menu included a nice selection. But we inquired of our waiter whether there were any other sides/dishes available - he insisted not, but after 15 or so minutes of observation, we could see that wasn’t true. We asked our first course server, he followed up with a few questions about what we were looking for (adding on a couple of staple side dishes - that we saw at other tables) and he said he would check. They were delivered shortly thereafter. The food was fine - standout was the squash soup. There was a 5% surcharge on the bill. This surcharge practice is getting out of hand - just raise the menu prices and be done with it! We still tipped generously because of the holiday - but the hostess and waiter didn’t add anything positive to the experience.

It was the Thanksgiving dinner I went to and enjoyed the view and being able to sit outside. I just think the appetizer was tasteless and 3 mushroom only? Also the salad was thrown together no dressing , the main meal was good, small slice of pie.

Regret loosing my time in this restaurant, poor food quality, super slow service in an almost empty room. Took us 1 hour to get 2 appetizers and a bear… for a party of 6, waiter was hostile because we were only tipping 18%. Left the restaurant after alergia reaction. Won’t recommend this place, won’t come again, they don’t care about their customers.

Loved sitting outdoors watching the sunset. Service good & food good. My seared nahi tuna salad was just ok & full of jalapeños so beware. My husband had the cheeseburger & loved it. Friends had short rib/avacado salad ..a TON of avocado & fish & chips ...large serving. Nice place...will return

Love this place, the menu is ever evolving so that is sometimes challenging and very limiting, but they do what the do well. The beach backdrop is perfection and the staff is always very nice.

We celebrate birthdays and frequent this restaurant multiple times in a year. This is the first time we received VERY poor service and the menu was incorrect in description of our order. We are very disappointed and will not be coming back!

The food was not good at all. I had the short rib salad that, the short rib did not have a good flavor and I barely ate it. Started quesadilla appetizer and the guacamole, the latter was ok but the quesadilla was not great. Expected much better food given pricing and location.

Location was ideal. Celebrated our 40th Anniversary and they treated uw with a glass of champagne and anniversary dessert. The table seating was with an ocean view sunset. The waiter provided excellent service.

Food was excellent, had a short conversation with the chef, very good person and attentive to diner’s questions. The atmosphere was awesome, restaurant very clean and well maintained. Our server was on her A+ game, also very attentive to our needs, very friendly and approachable. I don’t remember what her name was but she was a taller young lady. Party of about 15-20, there for a joining in marriage. The Gerry Manez Special was perfectly made by the bar staff. 100% probability I will return next time I find myself out west.

Dining mood by the sea is classic. However, food disappointing. Crab Rigatoni just tastes like a Mac N Cheese with crab bits in it and parmesan on top, taste was confusing. Mango 180 drink needs more of the mango taste and aroma. Grilled octopus needs the freshness taste but okay , could improve a little more. Truly appreciated Sea180 beer and the clam chowder on the other hand. Staff was accommodating which was nice.

We love coming to Sea180 at sunset. It is beautiful. The service was outstanding. We loved the salmon, very selicious. I wish they had more of a selection.

Had a fantastic server Fernando, ( think l was his name). He was So attentive and accommodating and interesting regarding his life story. Thank you! Brussels sprouts appetizer was wonderful and unique; Caesar salad very good . My Buddha bowl was great, husband’s enchiladas, very good!! Couple we were with liked the short ribs although did not like the shrimp pasta dish..: was not so good. Great value on Date night ( Tuesday)!! Great ocean view!!

My previous visits to Sea180 were 5 years ago during a stay at Pier South Resort. Back then the restaurant staff was snooty and seemed to make seating choices based on whether you were beautiful or not. As a fat man asking for a table for one I was consistently seated at the least appealing tables. Five years later I am back at Pier South and gave the restaurant another chance. I was so surprised to be greeted so warmly at reception by Natasha (the manager) and told to pick a table anywhere and she would follow me. What a complete 180 from five years ago. Natasha was warm and engaging and made me feel at home. The entire staff at dinner was wonderful as was the food and drinks. I was back for breakfast in the morning and was surprised to see Natasha before 8:00am. This woman works hard to make Sea180 the welcoming Imperial Beach restaurant it needs to be. If you are in IB stop in for a meal. You won’t regret it. And the ocean views are amazing.

Rough start with a beautiful correction and save! Food was delicious, service was strained at first due to staffing issues, but recovery was amazing. The evening turned into a marvelous date night! Highly recommend!
